Okuhita Onsen Umehibiki

Lovely traditional hotel with great rooms! Lots of detailing in the hotel and even a pillow gallery. Onsen bath was great and there was a massage chair in the changing room. It was quite a drive to find the hotel but overall very pleased with the stay.

This is an excellent ryokan which was been furnished to a very high standard, around the ume theme. Stayed here for 1 night in September 2023. Had a room with open-air onsen in-room (balcony), and lovely views across the valley to the mountains on the other side.

Service was friendly, some staff members spoke English and were assigned to help us.

The public baths were both wonderful, with open-air and indoor baths. There was also a stone dry sauna hall, wearing bath clothes and lying down. Public baths are open to day-trippers in the time between check-out and check-in, therefore changing rooms were large and had lockers.

Drinks were reasonably priced during dinner, kaiseki was wonderful and just the right amount of food.

Re-visiting this hotel after 3years, still as good as before. Great view great food with great service.

Once in a lifetime experience. The view of the cliffs from our rooms was breathtaking.

Beautiful and elegant traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. Only local people come to here, but friendly service can help none Japanese speaker feel comfortable.

Very new, spacious and clean onsen hotel. We enjoyed our dinner very much. Great big onsen pools and dry-steam room. Friendly service. By comparison, its breakfast was much less impressive than its dinner.

Beautiful and serene. The suites are luxe and well designed. And the view is stunning! The estate owns a umeshu distillery as well (2mins walk from the hotel) and they produce some of the finest umeshu in japan. A must visit (and drink) for the legal kids. There is also a small studio exhibition of Attack on Titan next door, pretty cool stuff. The only down side would be how far away it is to convenience stores and transportation. Shuttle to and from the station is provided but only at set times. Though it is this isolation that allows for true relaxation and natural beauty. Overall a must visit, do enjoy!

Nice onsen hotel with open air bath within the room ! Everything you can expect from Japanese standard : nice food good service clean room !

If you are Attack on Titan fan, you have to go here when you are in the area. The author of Attack on Titan is from Hita Ooyama and this place has real manga originals and a mini museum dedicated to the author.

We randomly visited this place to drink ume sake but luckily found out about this place. The sake is good too! They let you try out lots, I got a bit drunk.

Loved it and very beautiful.... However, fair warning. There is no place in the hotel to have lunch in the afternoon

Clean rooms, friendly employees, and tasty and healthy food. Definitely worth visiting again, especially for the hot springs.

Onsen, facility, dinner, breakfast everything were awesome. We’ll comeback soon.

บรรยากาศรอบๆ เงียบสงบ มีบ่อออเซ็นทั้ง private / public ให้ใช้

- มื้อเย็น เราสั่งกับทางของรร. อร่อย ทุกอย่างเค้าจะค่อยๆเสริฟทีละจาน ถึงสุกกี้ยากี้เนื้อ ตัวจบ อร่อยอิ่มพุงกาง
-มื้อเช้ารร.มีให้ ตอนเช้ามีบริการกาแฟ/น้ำส้ม/นม

บริการจากพนักกงานดีมากๆ (บางท่านจะพูดแต่ภาษาญี่ปุ่น ถ้าไม่เข้าใจใช้ google translate ได้) ในห้องจะมีคู่มือภาษาอังกฤษอีกที ไม่ยาก เหมือนรร.ทั่วไปค่ะ

恋人からの紹介で1泊宿泊。
とても素晴らしい旅館だと感じました。

雪の降る中でしたが、わざわざ駐車場からお出迎えしていただき、とても嬉しい気持ちになりました。手続きはロビーではなく、客室にて座らせていただいて芳名伺い＆館内説明。スタッフさんの対応も良く、お話も楽しく聞かせていただきました！

今回は別邸「鶯宿」を利用。普段は滅多に利用することもない「露天風呂付客室」。雪の積もる響渓谷を眺めながら非常に贅沢な気分で満喫致しました！(ルンルン気分で入浴♪)
なんと枕の貸出コーナー(ピローギャラリー)があり、館内探検中にピッタリの枕を発見☆お陰様で快適快眠です！

食事について、魚にアレルギーを持ってる私でしたが、食材の変更にもご対応いただき本当にありがとうございます！(大変お手数をお掛け致しました。調理場スタッフさんにも御礼申し上げます..)

夕食は併設する「梅酒蔵」で作られたという2種類の食前酒からスタート。自慢のお酒だけあって、とても美味しかったです！会席料理の品々も私の口に見事合っていて連れの者と「美味しいねー！」って話をしながら完食！味は勿論、見た目も凝っていて、視覚でも楽しめる工夫がされていると感じました。食事配膳のスタッフさんも対応が丁寧で、こちらの食事ペースを気に掛けながら配膳してくださりました。実は普段お酒をあまり飲まない私ですが...、連れの者から「大丈夫？」という心配の声を聞きつけて、さりげなくお水を持ってきていただき、お気遣いに感謝です。

夜はラウンジでお酒を堪能。
非日常のオシャレな雰囲気の中、素敵なバーテンダーさんが格好良くカクテルを提供。旅行前から連れの者からオススメコメントを沢山聞いておりましたが、色々なお話が出来て想像以上に楽しく過ごせました。四季に合わせて、カクテルの新メニューも考案しているということで、成程これは確かにオススメですね！(その後も色々とお気遣いいただいたようで誠にありがとうございます！)

全体的にスタッフさんがとても親切で、朝食時にもご丁寧に話し掛けてくださり、積雪でテラスが使用できない旨も言葉添えを頂戴致しました。テラスが利用出来ずとも朝から積雪の絶景を望みながら食事が取れる事は、むしろ幸運な気持ちでした！朝食自体も豪華な品々で、釜飯の出来栄えも完璧。今まで食べた白ご飯の中でも1番美味しかったです！感動しながら頂戴しました。朝食スタッフさんオススメの生たまご(「うちのたまご」)で作った「たまご掛けご飯」も頂きましたよ！美味しかったです！

大浴場では「活盤浴」にチャレンジ。
(サウナの息苦しさが苦手で普段こういう設備は利用しておりません)
そんな私でも凄くリラックスできました！気兼ねなくゆっくり利用出来て、とても気に入りました！

精算時には、地域のクーポンを利用。こちらの不手際でお手間を取らせてしまい申し訳ございませんでした。そのような中でも丁寧親切にご対応いただき、もう恐縮な思いです。(おっちょこちょいで本当にすみません！)柔軟なご対応のおかげで最後まで幸せな気持ちで旅行を終えることが出来ました！

今回の宿泊で私達2人で素敵な思い出を沢山作ることが出来ました。「ずっとここに居たいなー」というくらい居心地が良かったです。また泊まりに行きたいです。スタッフさん、本当にありがとうございました！こんな素晴らしい旅館に連れてきてくれた恋人にも感謝です☆

設備、ご対応、それから雰囲気がとても良く本当に有意義な時間でした。1歳の娘との初めての旅行でしたが、本当に申し分なく心地よく過ごせました。子供用のアメニティやキッズスペース、フリードリンクバー、お部屋には床暖房や冷蔵庫の無料ドリンクサービスもありした。食事もこだわりの食材を使用されており大満足です。
とにかく、一つ一つの環境に妥協が無く、考慮されているのだろうなと感じました。
また是非利用させていただきたいです。
