Hattasan Son-ei-ji Temple

We went there yesterday after work for their matsuri wherein the temple was lit with many lanterns. The stairs is very high but not that tiring. I wish the fest was held on weekends. Cute omamori too! And many interesting food and the ambience on the lower part is very alive while on the top most part is very serene. The wind chimes looked cute too especially of there’s wind

I love the temple. They have unique lucky charm covers which are changing each year. The walk from the main gate to the temple inside is pretty. I would recommend to visit in autumn

Cons: Pretty far from the station but you can find the taxi.

Hattasan Son-ei-ji Temple. Best view at night with illumination. A good place to stay for a few hours and also for relaxation. 💙😍Also have a goshuin stamp(a gold stamp)

The temple grounds are incredibly beautiful and we'll maintained. The air is also clean. Parking nearby is 200 yen!

The stairs leading up to the temple was super exhausting but once reaching the top, all was worth it. The temple was more than expected beautiful!

Their Dango is so good. I've been going there for their Dango for over 20 years now.

11月最終週の平日11時頃に訪問。
平日と言えど紅葉シーズンとあって、かなりの人の数でした。

駐車場は充分な数があります。
誘導員が手をぶんぶん振っていたのでそちらに停めましたが、誘導員のいるほうは駐車料金200円で、無人駐車場のほうは100円でした…

本堂までの紅葉が見事です。
まだ緑色の葉もありましたが、これくらいのほうが赤と緑のコントラストが綺麗で個人的には好みです。
本堂までは階段が続きますので、体力に自信のない方は一歩一歩ゆっくり登りましょう。

栗団子？を求めて長蛇の列ができていました。
買えば良かったかなぁと少し後悔。

階段が辛い。。。
ただ景色や石畳など本当に
綺麗に整備されていて、
素晴らしいなと思います。

厄除けの総本山ということで
妻が本厄でお祓いして頂きました。

建物もとても歴史あり綺麗です。
新しい建物が新築中です。

年々数が少なくなっている
宮大工さん。
ありがたいものが見れます。
