Bonsai Restaurant Omiya

Wonderful place with a lovely staff and great food. Located directly across from the Omiya Bonsai Museum they also sell bonsai tools and pots.

Friendly service and were accommodating to vegetarian requests/questions. Loved the Hamburg set.

If you visit the Bonsai Museum then this place is a must to have lunch! For little money you get extremely good food! The Bonsai special is extraordinary! You will get two slices of pork belly which will melt in your mouth...we will come back next time in Tōkyō!

Love this place! The food is great and the staff is awesome. Yoshi, Maki and their staff go the extra mile to make it an unforgettable experience. A place you must visit!!!

Good food, reasonable price. I recommend getting their Maguro Donburi and Grilled Beef Set, then sit beside the window because it's spacious! 😉

盆栽レストランという名前に惹かれて行ってきました🚵
まず、地名に盆栽町というのが有るのですね。
こちらのお店は盆栽町に在る、盆栽美術館の斜め前で営業していました。
看板が英語ですが、来店客も海外からの方が多いようで、訪問した時も二組いらっしゃいました。
お店のスタッフも全員、普通に英語で会話していたのが凄い！
食事の他にも、盆栽用の鋏や器具、鉢や肥料、土なども販売しています。
店内には苔玉や盆栽が普通に紛れ込んでいて、居心地良く過ごせます（笑）
お店の特徴ばかりに目がいきますが、注文したカレーセットもコクが有り、美味しかったです (^_^)v
落ち着ける良いお店でした。

盆栽美術館の斜め向かいにあるレストランで建物の外に盆栽がカジュアルに並べられている。
店に入るとまず盆栽用品販売ブースでその奥がレストラン。といってもさほど広くはなくかしこまった雰囲気でもない。
盆栽にちなんだメニューは「盆カレー」と「盆栽パンセット」がツートップだと思われる。
どちらもお土産の植物付きなのが面白い。
盆栽パンは見た目は緑色で中はあんこ。食事になるかどうか微妙だが苔玉をどこで買えるかも相場も知らないので注文して正解だった。
苔玉は持ち帰りやすいように持ち手付きの紙コップを用意してくれる。このサービスはよい。
育て方説明もつき抜かりがない。

和の内装でとても雰囲気がよく、一人でも家族連れでも入りやすいお店です。英語okということで、外国人もたくさん来ています。気さくでとても人柄の良いオーナーご夫妻や親切なスタッフさんが出迎えてくれます。新鮮で身体に優しい料理を提供してくださるので、小さな子どもにも安心して食べさせることができると思います。これからも家族共々よろしくお願いします！

盆栽美術館の前にあるレストラン。生姜焼き定食をいただきました。ボリューム満点で美味しかった。生姜焼きのタレはきちんと生姜をすって、手作りのタレ。気さくな店員さんがご飯のおかわりできると伝えてくれました。店内は盆栽が飾られていて、気に入れば購入することもできます。

食べてはいないが、メニューだけで楽しそう！
