Dive Centre Okinawa 39ers

I had a great experience with Okinawa 39ers. Daisuke and Helen were amazing guides. I dove with them for about 5 days total. Daisuke planned out my itinerary and picked me up every day. All the equipment was prepped and ready for me. We dove the Sanube Sea Wall, Kerama, Manza, Emmons, and Tonaki.

Daisuke is also really flexible. I was sick one day and could not dive but Daisuke was very understanding and did not charge me for the day. Great shop.

Definitely recommend. If I come back, I will dive with them again.

One of the finest diving experiences I’ve had! Daisuke and Helen do an amazing job leading the dives! They were very responsive on phone, friendly, and did a great job organizing the dive.

The dives themselves were not large groups. At most, 3-4 people total. So the size is great!

They also take great photos! They dive all over Okinawa, Sunabe, Kerama islands, Tonaki, etc.

All in excellent experience!

My friend and I recently went with the Okinawa 39ers for a triple dive experience at the Kerama Islands. Very first time scuba diving in Okinawa and the experience was unforgetable. Daisuke-san the owner and his staff were super friendly and helpful and we felt no stress and very safe in and out of the water.

10/10 definitely would recommend going scuba diving with this dive centre if it's your first time scuba diving in Okinawa as it easily ranked within my top dives and dive centres I've ever gone scuba diving with.

Very friendly and amazing customer service, highly recommend for a great dive guide. Speaks English very well. Had three amazing dives at Tonaki island, the swim through caves are a must do. Domo Arigato!

Daisuke and Okinawa 39ers are exactly what you’re looking for in a local dive shop. Knowledgeable, local guide (excellent English) that takes you to the best dive locations in small groups (4 people max). He takes photos and shares theme with you after each dive - all of the included photos are from him. His restaurant recommendations are unreal. And he’s a chill, fun guy to hang out with all day. Look no further!

Thanks to Daisuke and Helen for this amazing experience. I wanted to take the Open Water course, but I had a very small time window due to my short stay in Okinawa. Daisuke reassured me by giving me swift replies and updates about the schedule. Helen was my instructor. She was very kind and not only gave me diving lessons, but also taught me about the Japanese culture along the way. I would definitely recommend Okinawa 39’ers to everyone!

I have spent 4 days of diving in Okinawa and couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one i had with Daisuke and his team. I have asked for an easy dive the first day as it had been a while since I was in water and his colleague, Helena, took me on two lovely shore dives. After that, there were 3 amazing days with boat dives and Daisuke made sure that everyone was being picked up, dropped off, he took care of the equipment and helped us with advice on various things. I am super grateful for making those diving days unforgettable and can only hope to return and dive with this dive center again.

I dived with "Dive Centre Okinawa 39ers" for one week in October and it was just perfect! Friendly, safe, professional, and efficient staff. Daisuke has some really cool dive sites up his sleeve. Saw lots of marine life, colorful fish, and had excellent visibility. What more can you ask for?

I highly recommend this shop, owned by mister Daisuke! Even you are a first-timer, he and his companion Satomi will take care of everything to make you enjoy your first dive! I am very happy I could enjoy diving with them two in the Kerama Islands! Seeing the shark was the most exciting for me!
Big thanks to Satomi - she was a very good instructor! I am not certified and getting a bit nervous when starting descending and I also had some difficulties to equalize, plus struggled with constant leakage into the mask. So I realize, that who is the instructor - the most important thing. Due to some danger related to such activity having a professional and confident instructor is very important. Satomi was so attentive and kind to give me the time to equalize and calm down in every situation :) so I finally I could manage it all!

Dai was fantastic! Great communication before the trip, clearly laying out all the different options we had. We spent two days with him- first for fun dives and the second for snorkelling. He took some great photos for us and even had a cooler of hot water for us to rinse off at the end of the day. Would happily come back to Okinawa for more dives with him.

We’ve just had an incredible diving session today. Daisuke really goes above and beyond to make you enjoy the sea-life in Okinawa. We highly recommend the dive center. Thanks again for today!

I had the pleasure of diving with the 39ers for 3 days. Dai is a funny friendly guy with a passion for diving and photography. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good diving experience in Okinawa.

3 dives in and 3 to go. Daisuke, who has now been running this business for 8 years didn't respond quickly to my first email but then was excellent in everything he did. Turned up on time, talked to everyone individually on the boat out, explained what we were going to do and executed it perfectly and then emailed details of the dive afterwards and as an added bonus included a number of brilliant photographs he had taken.

Totally professional and totally a nice guy.
