Okinawa White Dental Clinic

Needed to go to the dentist for a routine cleaning and Okinawa White Dental was highly recommended. As you enter the dentist it is very clean and professional. The desk clerks help get everything settled and you can use international insurance or pay by cash/credit card. An excellent experience as they walk you through each step and offer choices such as flouride types. All in all a great experience and probably the best dentist I have been to as of yet!

Great dental experience. The staff was upfront and accomodates us during dental emergency. They clearly communicates
D costs and length to complete the procedure. Kids cleaning were great, I was allowed to stay with my youngest and called back to discuss findings for my other child.

If I could give a billion stars, I would! I am positively speechless at the incredible care I have received and still receiving. The entire staff and doctors are simply wonderful, sweet, kind, caring! They explain everything, every little detail. Communication is not an issue. For us military folk, they accept Tricare! I did have an amazing dentist in America but holy smokes, the service here just surpasses anywhere I've ever experienced. Super high tech machines, very clean, very comfortable. I can't recommend them enough 💕

Best experience at a dental office ever. Staff is super nice and patient. They accept Tricare and speak English. Wait times are very short, they were always able to get me in within a reasonable time. I would recommend this office to anyone, even if they have anxiety around dental work.

I really appreciate the translator they have to make it way easier for those who are still learning Japanese. Dr Hiro was amazing and gentle . Very thorough. Will recommend DR Hiro very awesome Dr Dental . He also is an Army Ground Veteran .

Dr. Hiro and his assistant were amazing during my cavity fills and filling repairs! I genuinely enjoyed the experience, which is rare for a dental visit! They were funny, kind, and worked quickly and efficiently. I’ll definitely be recommending them to everyone!

They were also nice and polite to my family. They provided courtesy appointment call reminders because I've often forgotten when appointments were scheduled .They also tried to work with us with appointment times or services needed, I would highly recommend this dentist.

I went to this clinic 8 months ago to ask them if I have a cavity in a particular tooth that had been bothering me, they told me the problem may be related to my gums instead of cavities. 8 months later I needed a root canal. If they had bothered checking with an X-ray then this would not have happened. Being overly cautious is better than otherwise in the health profession. I don't like writing negative reviews but when something is so easily preventable and I am facing lifelong consequences (and extra cost) I am left with no other option.

Let me start by saying the staff at this clinic is amazing when it comes to making you feel comfortable but I felt it necessary to write this not so good review. I went here for a cleaning and exam. The cleaning was great, and the review of what needed to be done on my teeth went well. I basically had to get a few cavities filled which took a total of 3 sessions. So 3 different days since they only have hour appointment slots. If the dentist went over the allotted time then someone else took over, then he would come back to check the work. First visit, he started working on the area but went over the time allotted so they put a temporary filling. Second visit, he put the fillings in on the bottom teeth (3 molars) . After that visit, I couldn’t even eat on that side because it hurt. Also I couldn’t floss between two of the molars because it was so sensitive, and my floss was getting caught on something. Third visit, another dentist worked on a filling in the top teeth, and after that I mentioned how my bottom teeth hurt and how I couldn’t floss. So they bring back my original dentist to look at it. He tried using the floss and noticed it was tough. He did some work on it but I didn’t understand what exactly what was being done. It looked as if it was just adding more filling in between my teeth then filing the area. After he was done, he just told me not to pull the floss up but slide it through because it would make my fillings weak. That right there made me uncomfortable since that’s not really solving the issue. He did say if it was still sensitive to give a call and just come back, but after the advice he gave on how to take care of the issue I chose to go somewhere else. While waiting for my new dentist appointment, I wasn’t able to eat on the side I had fillings done because it was sensitive. At the new dentist I found out my fillings were poorly done and he was able to pick at the filling and pull some of it off with no real effort! He had to redo the work that was done and now that area feels so much better AND I can floss easily again. The sad part of this is that he said with him having to redo the fillings, it has made them weaker which will potentially end up having to be crowned later down the road. Again this is my personal experience and maybe I’m the only one who will have an issue with this place. I just wanted to put it out there for anyone who may have to get a few fillings done in the same area.

Horrible place, long lines, need to wait months for appointment. The only advantage of this place is that some of the staff speaks English. I have done Invisalign straightening process with them (that cost a lot of money and many many unnecessary visits) and they treated me like a number without any consideration or respect for my time. After a year my teeth are not still not straight and the retainer that they made (for the second time) does not fit.
Then they tried to scam me for money on stain removal that happened because of a bad cavity filling that they did!!! they told me that the insurance doesn't cover this. At the end I removed the stain at a different clinic and was covered by the national health insurance. HIGHLY UN-RECOMMENDED!!!

Wasn't happy with the service - and it was expensive compared to others. Paid over 15,000 yen for an exam and cleaning. The exam was a total of maybe two minutes of the dentist doing a visual exam and poking around with the metal poking tool they use. No x-ray. The cleaning was brushing for about 10-15 minutes. I could've brushed and flossed myself. No buffer drill, or whatever it's called, to polish. I was really disappointed with both the exam and cleaning, especially considering the high cost, and won't return.
