Moegi no Yu Onsen

Very scenic and easily accessible. The facility is nice, clean and well kept. It has both an indoor and an open outdoor hot spring. The place has nice views and offers a relaxing opportunity after hiking or and the end of a camping expedition.

Onsen just next to the Hikawa Camp Site ⛺.
For ¥1,250 / person, you can try the onsen with tree views for both indoor with jacuzzi style and outdoor bath (there are only 2 baths). Heading to the restaurant upstairs or try the chair massage for more relaxation.

Nice place. It was a bit crowded when i went - mostly long weekend crowd exploring Okutama I guess and from the nearby Hikawa camp. Ample parking spaces. They have got a small waiting room and give you a token number in case it’s crowded inside. At reception, you pay for the onsen and get to your business at the basement level onsens - indoor and outdoor. 1st floor has the restaurant and nice setup. I just hope they improve the food quality a bit. Otherwise it was super good overall. Onsen water temperature was also soothing after long hike. Would definitely go back sometime just for the onsen!

Great onsen, not too pricey, you can see great views from the outdoor onsen, the restaurant indoors has some decent choices, if it’s not sold out the river fish lunch is amazing.

I was planning a day trip from Tokyo but ran out of time. Still I did a lot of reading and plan to visit next time because a. It’s tattoo friendly and b. Some of the baths are outdoors. Accessible by train. Take google translate with you, I’ve been told.

Small but nice onsen nearby the valley. Especially open air onsen was a great experience during rainy season. The restaurant has a great forest view while having a meal. Highly recommended. You can reach here after few changes on the trains but it’s worth.

JPY780 for a 2 hour soak. Outdoor pool was set in a zen forest setting and indoor pool has jacuzzi facilities. Underground spring water is used at this onsen. Do bring your own towel!

Wonderful place to visit. This is one of the best Onsens in the entire Tokyo region. A little bit of Japanese will ensure that a tourist is well accepted here. Just be sure to know the rules of Onsen bathing ahead of time.

Very small onsen but very clean, food is very good and you can relax for 3 hours with normal ticket.
If you go in the weekend may be very crowded

奥多摩駅から徒歩10分くらいで着きます。値段も高くはなく、きれいな施設だったので良かったです。キャッシュレス対応しています。（2階のレストランは現金でした）
内風呂1つと露天風呂1つの構成になっていて、そんなに大きくはないですが、日曜日の夜でも混んではいなかったです。
タオルは付いていませんが有利でレンタルは可能です。温泉は透明だった気がします。山の中で川を見下ろせるようなとこになっていて、ちょうどいい湯加減で気持ちよかったです。
あと別途100円払えば、駐車場近くの足湯にも入ることができます。
改修のため2023年11月27日から2024年4月までは臨時休館になるようなのでご注意ください。
