Nichiren Shoshu Myorenji

A wonderfully atmospheric Nichiren Shoshu temple. Not only famous for being the house of Nanjo Tokimitsu but also has Nichiren Daishonin and Nikko Shonin Gohonzons enshrined. Chanting here was serene and enlightening

A very historic and beautiful temple. This temple was established before Taisekiji ( the building has been reconstructed several times over the 700 years period.) All nichiren shoshu member should find an opportunity to come visit and chant w/ Rev. Urushibata . The main chanting hall is quite intimate and small . likely to fit only about 20 people.

If you are Nichiren Shoshu budist, you have to visit this temple. It is very special to me. Reverend Urushibata will welcome you and direct the Gongyo ceremony. You can also ask for toba. I always feel a peaceful sensation when I am here.

Myorenji Temple is a Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist Temple. This temple dates back to the 13th century. It is beautifully maintained and is in-service today. Visiting Myorenji Temple really makes you feel like you are going back in time to the 13th century. Very beautiful, peaceful and the real thing.

中高登山の朝勤行で参詣させて頂きました(客殿)御宝前は、三宝式(中心に御本尊様、右に日興上人様の御影様、左に日蓮大聖人様の御影様を御安置する形)で元は南条時光殿の屋敷で、奥様(乙鶴)の一周忌で自分の自宅をお寺にしたものです

他宗の方が多いので簡単に説明いたしますと、日蓮正宗は他の日蓮宗寺院とは違い、御朱印等の物は販売等しておりません。
純粋な仏教ですので寺院の敷地内にも神社は存在しません。
本当の仏教とは何なのかと疑問に思った方々は御住職様、御信徒さんに聞いてみるのが一番良いと思います

日蓮正宗の本山で、すぐ近くの総本山大石寺の開基檀那である南条 時光(なんじょう ときみつ)殿の自宅跡に建てられた寺院です。
客殿、表門、庫厘が富士宮市の文化財に指定されています。
総本山大石寺に立ち寄られた際には、ぜひ妙蓮寺と近所にある南条家の持仏堂跡に建てられた下之坊にも足をお運びください！
700年以上の時を経た今日まで伝わってきた、日蓮大聖人様の正しい仏法を実感する事ができますよ！！

Templo da Nichiren Shoshu na cidade de Fujinomya. Muito bonito, um dos Templos mais antigos da região. Recomendo visitarem na temporada de florada de cerejeira que fica ainda mais bonito. Antiga casa de Nanjo Tokimitsu, que era dono de grande parte da região, ele construiu em homenagem a sua esposa que recebeu o nome de Myoren. Maravilhosa a esperiencia de visitar este local.

日蓮正宗の寺院。鎌倉時代の地頭であった南条の屋敷を寄進。三門等は有形文化財に指定されています。
