I really enjoyed my trip here. We went there the morning after a big typhoon and so there weren’t many people. If you don’t like bugs or being in nature I don’t recommend it.
We started the day on the train and went to the Canadian village where we enjoyed the kaleidoscope museum and learning about their sister city.
Next, we walked through the fairy and Japanese garden to go up to the craft village. We had so much fun making a name plate and wine holder. The lady there was so kind and encouraging. Unforgettable experience. It could be expensive, my name plate was around 2000 yen, but if you pick a smaller plate and do just your name I think you could make it for only around 1000 yen.

The views were very nice from the village and I fell into the koi pond at the Japanese garden lol.

We had so much fun at a restaurant in the Izu village! The British village definitely seemed the most worn out but I think it was fun.
Price wise I guess it could be expensive for a place that not even everything is open and stuff. I didn’t think the walk around was that long at all as there were various things to see and do along the way. Walk through the garden to get from one side to another and not on the road.
I think that many places need improvement and we’re not the cleanest but it is an old place. If you just namedrop a nearby ryokan like arai they will give you a 400 yen discount lol. For 800 yen I definitely think it was worth it but you have to consider; do you like walking around in nature? Do you mind older facilities? Do you mind dropping money on various things here and there? If you prepare your mind accordingly I think you can have a great time.

Go to see. shuzenji Garden Nishino Sato, a simulated theme park. English village Including the Nada village, a German village And there is also a museum Ancient steam trains and The museum of ancient children's toys as well. Including the back, walking down the stairs from him there is still a Japanese-style garden.
There is a shady atmosphere, full of beautiful trees and a pond for ducks and carp. There are restaurants, cafes, shops in the same area. It is a very wide area because it is in the valley so you have to walk a long distance. But here there is a service to sit. The old steam train provided To go down to various points as well, including a vintage British car to sit with.

Lots of beautiful flowers. Nice old train you can ride for 400 yen adult price ticket. Feels like being outside Japan seeing the environment and the old houses.

All I can say is…. Train town!!!

Great for kids and if you want a day at a relaxing theme park. We took a bus from Shuzenji Station, but driving may have been more convenient.

Lots of food options and areas to relax in the park. Definitely jump on the train between British town and Canadian town for a fun ride.

This was probably one of the most interesting and extraordinary parks I have ever been too. I really hope to go again someday. My last and only time was 2008.

Beautiful outdoors park for the whole family of all ages! Has interesting themed areas like British village, Canadian village (which honestly more resembles USA country side rather than Canada), Japanese village. One place not to miss is kaleidoscope museum that is in the Canadian village! Check it out, it’s very nice. Old toys museum is cute and creepy at the same time :)
There are plenty of souvenirs stores, a few places to eat a full meal and of course and an ice cream shop!
It’s great for all the seasons, especially for autumn colors viewing and cherry blooming season. Plus there’s a rose garden that’s well taken care all year round so it has flowers most of the year!

You must visit this place if you get the chance, especially in good weather as it's very beautiful and you can ride the miniature trains to get from A to B within the compound. You'll particularly enjoy it if you're interested in British, Canadian and Japanese themes as the park is divided into sections, villages with decor from those countries and it's pretty accurate and faithful too. It's perhaps best to time the visit in sync with the flowers that may be blooming as there are lots of flower beds. Each village section has museums too plus cafes and there's a lot for kids to do. There are buses that go to this place and you should plan ahead as it's located down winding village roads. You'll need about 3000 yen minimum to cover entry fee plus anything else you want to buy. There are lots of souvenir shops! Make sure you have memory space on your phone as you'll want to take many pics!

This park is one of my favorite. I bring my daughter here several times a year and really enjoy passing time there. In summer they open an area where kids can play with water as well. However, this is no place to leave children unattended.

Really great park for families. Lots of nature to explore, space to run around, games to play - we could only manage less than half of it in one day.
