Washuzan Highland

It’s not usual amusement park (not like Usj or Disney land) but if you expect it to be different it’s pretty cool. Crazy to think that people came here 50 years ago. One big + no wait line so you can use attractions as much as you like . But if you don’t have a car it can be difficult to get there ( we used bus 51 from Kurashiki and then walked around 40min) but overall it was really nice experience and we had fun . Some rides feel scarier because park is on top of the hill ⛰

A really bizarre place, in a good way. Went on a rainy weekday, there were very few guests, but the entertainers put on a show for us anyway, they were very energetic and fun! There's actually a good selection of rides.

Washuzan Highland is a place that's hard to explain. When you first approach, you're greeted warmly by aging rainbow stairs. As you leave the nearly empty parking lot behind and pass through the friendly gates of this park, you'll be amazed.

Amazed at how empty, friendly, lush, and decrepit it all appears.

The roller-coasters at this park look like they haven't had a coat of paint in 20 years. I'm convinced two of them are actually standing but not operating (the Ultratwister and the Chuppy Coaster). I actually saw a ride that wasn't listed on the map anymore, peering out of the overgrowth as it is slowly swallowed whole by Mother Nature.

The views here are outstanding. The food is pretty good. The samba dancers are friendly and lively.

The rides didn't kill me. They sure looked like they could, but they were pretty fun.

The arcade appears to be decomposing.

The pool, surrounded by aging and faded slides, glistens with crystal clear water in the afternoon sun.

As you pull yourself up the worn and weary paths of this mountain-side park, the beautiful views will leave you breathless.

For a moment, you'll think you're in paradise, until you catch a glimpse of another rust-covered machine, hurtling those with gambling hearts straight toward the sun.

You're not in paradise. You're in a dystopia.

But a surprisingly fun one.

This place is unique. It's worth seeing. It's worth saving.

For all its quirks and obvious flaws, Washuzan Highland should be on your list of must-sees in Japan.

Love having parks like this around. Enjoyed my visit in 2018. Awesome hospitality, even had entertainment. Sky Cycle worth the visit on its own.

It was so fun. I love the place. Good for health also because going there by walking is a good activity

30年ぶりくらいに訪問。娘の中学卒業旅行で三重県からお邪魔しました。笑えるくらいの階段と、親しみやすいスタッフのおっちゃん。ユニバやディズニーで死ぬほど並ぶより絶対にこっち(笑)
娘たちも爆笑しながら楽しく過ごさせてもらいました。
何より皆でバンジージャンプが出来たのが最高の思い出でした。景色も良いので、晴れてると本当にサイコー。

ずっと行ってみたかった遊園地に、やっと行きました。天気もいい感じで1日楽しめました。
60歳以上は、永久に無料で楽しめるフリーパスが2000円だったので、また来たいと思い書いました。永久に使う物だから、しっかりしたカードかと思いきや、ただの紙製のしおりのような物でした。大事に持ってて使いたいです。
階段は少しきつかったけど、園内をいろいろ歩き回るので、体も鍛えられていいなと思いました。
ジェットコースターも観覧車もどれも、絶景を楽しみながらだったのでリフレッシュできました。
スカイサイクルだけは、あまりの高さに怖くて怖くて、でも途中でやめることもできず、とにかく必死でこいで戻りました。
怖すぎです。

15.6年ぶりに行きました。
とにかく楽しい！なんと言ってもビンゴ大会！！あの地元感たまらん！！ローカルの遊園地だからいい！！バンジージャンプは安定の安さ2,000円でできます。フリーパスは安い。JAF割引1人200円！！ちゃんと絶叫マシーンもあります。
ジェットコースターが休止中で1人500円の飲食券をもらえます。ビンゴの景品もチューピーグッズ！2,000円相当！！
大好きなローカル遊園地。１人のスタッフが2つのアトラクション担当。お客様がいないとそのまま2回目やらせてくれます。
ちゃんと絶叫マシーンは怖い。駐車場は無料！入場料3,800円。安い。
ロケーション素晴らしい！！ターボドロップで高さ60メートルまで上がった時の景色はたまらなく絶景です。瀬戸内海最高でした。

また近々行きまーす。

メチャクチャ楽しかったです。
GW中の平日に行きました。
１５時からのトワイライトパス2,500円で閉園まで楽しめました。山の上にある遊園地の為、アトラクションに行くのにプチ登山しないといけませんでした。
ショートカットするために足腰丈夫な人向け
地獄（見た目はパラダイス）階段を登り、ちゃんと点検・検査されているとわかっていても恐怖しかないチューピーコースター・スカイサイクルでしたが、素晴らしい絶景にはかないませんでした。
そちらと同じくらい最高だったのが、サンバ。
サンバの練習タイムのお姉さんはやる気20%くらいでしたが、ショータイムでは真近ででド迫力なものを見られてテンションダダ上がりでした。司会してたおじさんもほぼ何話してるかわかりませんでしたが、みんなでビンゴや、必死な椅子取りゲームなどお楽しみがいっぱいで大満足でした!

噂で聞いていてついに行ってきました！まさか入園チケットと一緒にビンゴカードをもらうとは思いませんでしたwそこから怒涛のノンストップビンゴ大会！
その後はじっくりとアトラクションを廻りました(フリーパスのため無料)
■スカイサイクリング　噂通りの怖さだけど景色は抜群！シートベルトしか安全具ないので写真を撮りたい方はペアで行くか道具が必須
■観覧車　+1000円で全部透明なゴンドラが使えます　正直後悔するくらい怖かった…

その他古めだがしっかりとしたアトラクションが多数あったり日本の遊園地では見られないブラジルっぽい雰囲気が感じられるので本当に楽しい遊園地でした‼
