Great place to visit. There is a walking bridge that you walk over to enter here and the river below is filled with wild Koi fish. This castle is also very close to the Shinkansen tracks (Bullet Train) so it is pretty cool to watch that go by at speed. Then once you enter the grounds there is a nice pond with Koi as well and you can walk around and enjoy the garden. Once you enter the castle you will be welcomed by very friendly volunteers and asked to pay a ¥300 yen enterance fee and to remove your shoes, but they have slippers to wear. Once inside you can learn about the history of the castle and at the top you get a great view of the surrounding area. This is also a great spot to view the Shinkansen wizzing by.

Really loved the aesthetic of this castle and the little hidden gem properties it has.

It is not one known to many tourist but yet has a very beautiful view with a majestic bridge leading up to it.

Inside of the castle ground there are zen garden and you can enter the castle itself i you pay the admission fee which is quite steep
For the small castle at 500 yen per adult .

We chose just to appreciate around the castle and quickly got the castle stamp as well ! Quite a pretty stamp for the stamp collectors.

A beautiful place.
There is shinkansen road too, and JR train that’s make quiet noisy.

There is souvenirs and cafetaria too.
If you want to look inside you need to pay it. And they also have business hours. So you have pay attention for it.

In the outside castle, you can enjoy 24hours.

There is also another park not far from here. You can go on foot.

You don't have to worry about stopping your car because there are plenty of parking spaces parking area.

The first and best castle so far that i ever see here in Japan. So clean, peaceful, well preserved, and well maintained. Very near here in my apartment. So happy and enjoy to visit here every Sakura season. You can also witness the bullet trains pass by beside the castle. This city is not crowded and got less population compare to other city. But this area is not that big as well.

Kiyosu castle is really nice place to see and walk around if in the area. Nagoya castle gets all the hype, but this one is really nice. Takes little time to visit and look around. There is a really nice gift store with food that is just across the bridge, 2 minute walk. Also a couple more attractions in the area that can be linked with the Kiyosu castle. Not many people on the weekday.

I came upon this castle quite by accident while looking out of the train window. It looks such a beautiful and inviting castle that I decided to cycle there. Easy to get to....just off the main road. And there is a large carpark dedicated to this place. Lovely approach to the castle across a splendid bridge. Very picturesque. An attractive rock and sand garden presents a great foreground to the castle.

A beautiful castle with a rock and sand garden and many suits of armor and artifacts from the Oda clan and other important items like Kimonos and Katana blades. The castles colors are unique to Kiyosu. Though the building is a reconstruction it does not look like one.

A really nice sightseeing experience that took up little time to do. There are times that you can wear samurai armor and make sure to visit the Armory across the river as well. We'll worth the trip imo.

Lighting forms several circles on the floor and the castle changes color. There is a speaker on the pole and it makes us hear a melody that really touches the heart... That moved me a lot. Gratitude to everyone involved in this process 👏🙏❤🥰

I was able to pull a good shot. Unfortunately, we came too late. The tenin (shop personnel) said they are going to close. But we still had a great time, there's a lot of parks around it that you can also visit. A must visit when in Kiyosu.

Not so touristic but very beautiful castle near Nagoya. You can also learn a lot about Japanese armors and make photos with samurai outfits.

A place that for Japanese history lover (esp Sengoku period), it is funny that the train line cross thru the castle area but it is a bit far from nearby train stations.

It looks like the bridge Chihiro had to cross while holding her breath. Outstanding

The castle is related to the rise to power of Oda Nobunaga, so if you like japanese history or you ever played a Samurai Warriors game, it's a must. A "small" castle with a very good exhibit.
