Urabandai Lake Resort

I like the spacious room and beautiful lake view. The buffet is nice 👍.lots of choices. Nearby there’s a few lakes and waterfalls for you to enjoy.

Nice hotel, recommend for sunset view at onsen. Room is very comfortable. Dn & Bf is variety. On sat have fresh fruit to sale in the morning.

We had a very nice stay. The food was delicious and all the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We're planning on returning here.

I stayed one night here. it was great the amenities were amazing and this day included access to the public bath . The small outdoors Onsen is highly recommended by me.

There are even additional activities you can pay for, like a karaoke room. This was a perfect place to stay for a trip on the AzumaBandai Skyline to Fukushima.

Wonderful hotel with nice views, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent food. Lots of reasonably-priced activities too (darts, billiards, karaoke, golf simulator). Great outdoor bathing. Convenient shopping as well. Try the nearby lake cruise!

A big and clean hotel located beside the Goshikinuma lake.

We didn't stay and only used the onsen but the hotel hall and shops look gorgeous.
Edit: Went back here and this time we used the shuttle bus and the driver was super friendly and introduced us all the area, gave us many tips, he was such nice guy. We also used the cafe and the food is pretty good.

Wonderful place in a wonderful location. Stay away from the buffet. It's an absolute hog show and people get rude and pushy. Not very Japanese.

Can’t fault it really except a bit expensive but it’s a resort after all. It’s spacious, staff are friendly, close to hiking and other activities.

We only used the onsen. I don't see all that well without my glasses, and even I could tell that the outdoor onsen (which is somewhat small) had an awesome view (of the lake). There's also a "soft steam" sauna in the indoor onsen. The water is brownish, which according to the website is due to the high iron content in the water. Pretty good facilities for the price, and the view is a whole bunch of cherries on top.

This resort is a little bit from the train station, but well worth the $50 cab ride, upon arrival we were greeted by some of the staff that helped bring our luggage inside, while checking in, some of the staff speak English, made it more easier, the whole staff are so hospitable and go out of their way to help you, as for the resort they have many things to keep you busy, onsen, karaoke, simulated golf, hiking the Goahiki Nima trail, water activities depending what time of the year you visit, the food is excellent, comes with Buffet breakfast, have to get there when they open, 6:30 am, as for the dinner buffet, it will cost 5000 yen, well worth it, have a very nice spread. And I did not mention, the cab company has a deal with the hotel cost is 5000 yen, regular price is around 7,500 yen, so you have to ask. Score jumping in the cab, we needed 2 cabs, and one of them did not want to do the deal, so our driver found a second cab for us.
