La Toquee

This restaurant is known for the blue marlin (tuna) seared steak. It was to die for. We also tried other items on their menu and everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend making reservation. We went off season but still saw many people getting turned away without a reservation.

One of the best restaurants we ate in Japan! Honestly Zamami is not at all as faboulous when it gets to food then the rest of Japan, but “La Toquee” stands out far! We came back several times amd tried many dishes. All of them are fresh and excellent!
The waitress is extremely friendly and helpful. A great introduction to southern japanese kitchen.

We called ahead of time to secure a table for dinner. Service was fantastic!
The food was also amazing. We had the deep fried banana fish, garlic fries, fried seaweed, ice cream...perhaps a couple of other things. Everything was delicious. No complaints.

The friend banana fish was covered in sweet and sour sauce...the kind you can find in North America. Living in japan for nearly a decade and unable to find this sauce anywhere else, this was a happy surprise!

Absolutely delicious and many vegetarian options.some they'll make vegetarian for you which is awesome. Nice place with pretty delicious food.

Recommended by the tourist office for sea foods and I’m glad I came here to have sea foods. The price, quality and quantity are all decent. They sometimes refuse a service to a single person when they are very busy. Only one person serves all the customers and there are two big tables for a group customer behind the wall.
Don’t forget to try Okinawan pork rice don. It was really good.

Love their tuna steak!!! Everything is sooo good. I really recommend you to make a reservation like a day prior to secure your spot.

I was here with 2 vegetarians, but the waitress was very helpful to turn some items of the menu into fully vegetarian dishes.
Food was great and atmosphere too!
We had some live music as well, which was very nice!

The swordfish steak and seared tuna were amazing!! They source seafood locally, so they run out early. We tried to order a second round of the swordfish but they had sold out. Get there early!

This is a fantastic place to spend an evening after bring in the hot sun all day. It's comfortably cool and various types of seating are available, to handle groups of friends, out for some merriment and fine dining. All sorts of foods and drinks are available. Service is excellent and the staff are super friendly.

Amazing food. Swordfish sashimi and steak were the special of the day. The seared tuna sashimi was fantastic as well.

Good service with authentic food. Food was cheap, fresh and well served. For nine year old kid it was invaluable experience with locals.

座間味島2日目の夜に利用しました。予約は1週間前から電話で受け付けてくれるので、来島前に予約しました。オフシーズンでもお店に寄っては断られたりするようで、Googleマップなどの営業時間もあてにならなかったりなので、夕食難民回避のためには予約必須です。沖縄料理や泡盛を使ったカクテルが美味しかったです。料理はどれも美味しかったです。

どの料理もすごく美味しい。
沖縄らしい料理から普通の居酒屋メニューや洋食まであり、お店の雰囲気はバーのような感じだが料理のレベルが凄く高い。

座間味のお店はどこも混んでいるので予約しておくのがおすすめ。

저녁 예약을 안했더니 다른 음식점들은 다 안된다고 하고 여기만 가능했어요
그런데 음식이 나오는데 넘 오래걸렸어요ㅠㅠ 다른분들도 주방쪽만 쳐다보고 계시더라고요..ㅋㅋ
맛은 무난무난했고
두부참프루?? 저건 꽤 맛있었어요!!
그리고 친절하십니다 ㅎㅎ

Nous sommes allés 2 fois dans ce restaurant sur nos 3 jours À Zamami tellement que nous avons adoré les plats. Le personnel est très accueillant, sympathique et souriant. Il est fort probable que ce soit notre meilleur restaurant au Japon. Nous avons goûté à plein de plats et ce fut très bon, pleins de saveurs. Petit plus pour le marlin mi-cuit. Tout était excellent. Pas chers et très copieux. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir
