サトトゥンと読みます。渡名喜島の祭祀の中心となっており、大昔の集落跡に御嶽ができたようです。渡名喜島最大の祭礼・シマノーシではこちらを中心に祭礼が行われ、祭礼にまつわる聖地が御嶽の周辺に多く見られます。(詳しくは島内の資料館で学べます)
島内イチの聖地なので無礼のないようにお邪魔しましょう。また、御嶽周辺からは渡名喜集落がよく望めます。
