Hotel Towadaso

Very good manner and service. Dinner Set is delicious, there are plenty of dishes with small portion of food but more than enough to make me full. Onsen bath is the highlight here, it is huge and the water temperature is just right, no need to waste time warming you body like many other onsen.

Nice Japanese old fashion hotel. Japanese rooms are spacious with a retro atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay. There is a big spa onsen with outdoor onsen as well (no sauna).

We booked without diner/breakfast. There is a Japanese restaurant for those who booked without diner as we did. Simple yet very tasty ramen/gyoza.

Also there is a shop next to the front office where you can buy souvenirs, alcohol and snack.

Actually this hotel we selected from Agoda hotel as per end of the route.

Room: Excellent amenities and set up with all you need here such as restaurants and public Japanese style bathrooms which good spot for us.

Service: As it of Japanese style hotel.

The facility were good and convenient such as restaurants foe small bite and vending machines there for us.

The scenary of the hotel is nice. Futons were very comfortable! The room is on the old side but it was clean and spacious.
The surroundings are very beautiful and we were lucky to have a fireworks display during the evening.

We had a pleasant stay here, it's a bit old and some rooms might need to be restored. Still good value for money for the area.

One of the traditional grand hotels in this area. Amazing hot spring and meals. Rooms are spacious and decent enough. You can also enjoy a luxurious view of the lobby. Overall, great quality with very reasonable price.

Booked this place through rurubu travel, couldn't be happier with the cost and the stay. The cost of stay was part subsidised by the government and the requirement for it was 3 doses of vaccination, and personal ID to prove you're a resident of Japan. This information is in the news and is on the booking page. It's also written in the confirmation email they send soon after booking the hotel.

As others have mentioned the facilities are dated but they are well maintained despite the age. The onsens were large and had a indoor and outdoor bath, and opens until 2400 and open again in the morning.

The location was nice for a walk along the lake and to the bus stop to go to Oirase gorge.

My review is only for onsen. It is very nice, one big indoor bath, one medium size outdoor bath. Very well stocked amenities. There is an indoor waterfall as you go into the onsen area. The hotel has a nice aesthetic. Day trip 500円

The room is very big and it's near lake towadaso. The best part is it provides free shuttle bus from hacchinohe station to hotel back and forth during winter time when JR bus to lake is not running. The view along the way is nice. The shuttle bus takes around 2 hours.

This hotel was wonderful. The baths and amenities were great. The staff were willing to come pick us up after we missed the last JR bus on our hike. Really they were so kind

Big rooms with beautiful views, excellent service and customer service. Definitely love the onsen, it was very big and with some amenities. In the women's onsen there is a bubble part. The hotel it's very spacious and even though it is a little bit outdated it's very well manteined and clean.

It is an old Japanese style hotel, and I think it is nice to enjoy this kind of atmosphere here. The hotel also provides traditional dinner and breakfast which are also nice. The fee is very reasonable and it is closed to Lake Towada and JR bus stop.

I was not even a guest at this hotel. I got stranded in Lake Towada and had no way to get home. I asked the staff for help, and they managed to get me on my way back home by the end of the night. Great people.

LARGE rooms, great breakfast. This hotel is great if you can get rooms for 10-13k JPY.
