Amazing sushi! We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night but still got a table. Staff was very friendly and fast. Sushi was excellent! Goya was crispy and cooked to perfection. Yoshi still is back behind the bar creating masterpieces

The rolls here are so good! Get there before 6pm because it fills up fast. Service is super slow but the food is fantastic.

We made a reservation so we didn’t have to wait. The food was excellent, especially the spicy scallop rolls and blowfish sushi. Nice atmosphere, definitely a must visit in Okinawa.

Best experience as a first-timer in Okinawa. I would highly recommend this spot for sushi lovers and tourists. Food was excellent, and I wished I could ingest more food. DO GO TO THIS RESTAURANT and ENJOY.

We love Yoshihachi!! It's the best place on the island for exceptional sushi. You should get there right at opening as they fill up quick and with only two people behind the sushi counter, orders can back up quickly. Even with a wait, the food here is more than worth it. Do not leave without trying the salmon, scallop, and blowfish nigiri!

The quality of the sushi has been excellent as far back as I can remember. Rainbow roll is the best I have ever had anywhere. The wait during peak times for dine in can be lengthy but worth it.

Hands down the best sushi bar in Okinawa. The chef had been around the world and hob nobbed with famous celebrities. Check out all the pictures on the wall. But the real deal is that he and now his son serve up the best sushi in Okinawa. Have spicy tuna roll, try Shark sashimi, it’s actually delicious. And of course puffer fish. Why now live on the wild side. Best to get there early without a reservation. Find a local to make you reservations otherwise. Great place!!!

What an amazing place! The decor and ambiance is outstanding, but the food is what takes it over the top. The Chef and staff are outstanding, very meticulous in everything they do. Great spot to come and have the most fresh and amazing sushi. Go and enjoy the experience, you won’t be disappointed.

Honestly this is just about the best sushi I have had on the island. The inside of the place is comfortable and well decorated, the menu is extensive with some rare things (blow fish and shark when available) but even the humblest of sushi is done in a way sure to make you fall in love with it all over again. It is pricey, but very much worth going to. Parking is nearby at the community center. A bonus in the restaurant is seeing how many famous people you can recognize decorating the walls!

Fabulous and famous local sushi spot! This place has been visited by everyone from athletes to Presidents and celebrities. Super cute and cozy with pictures and nicknacks everywhere. Wonderful food. I recommend the scallops and the sashimi in particular. Great staff, make sure you have some time to enjoy the charming local fixture!

GREAT RESTAURANT!! I can’t believe how fresh and delicious this sushi is! You could even see Yoshi himself cooking the sushi! The plating and food look so good and tasted so amazing! The wait is quite a while so I suggest you order
appetizers first. Other than that it was so good and I really suggest you try it!!

Looove the food here!!! And very lively from how pack it gets!!! I recommend calling and seeing if you can make reservations ahead of time to avoid waiting too long!!! The service was a little slow, only 1 chef was there if I wasn't mistaken. But, you can look around and see interesting pictures of famous people posted. I would recommend trying this place out at least once if anything!

Finally found a solid sushi place for take out. I loved the variety of sushi we got in the set dinner platters. I highly commend one of those and an appetizer! I loved my octopus salad. They have shark and blow fish sushi too! The inside decor is awesome and I can't wait to be able to go to eat inside!

I ordered ahead to place my order ahead of time and it was ready within 15. I had a large order. Takes credit card and yen. No parking lot, but we street park and there is a community center down the street.

This is the best sushi in the area.

It is all made by Yoshi and one other Itamaee, so if it is busy your food will take longer just like any other restaurant. However we came on a weekday evening and service was fast.

It's not as cheap as Sushiro or Kami (obviously), but the quantity is very respectable for the price especially considering the high quality.

If your in Okinawa this is definitely the sushi spot to go to!! I’ve tried over a dozen different sushi restaurants in the few months I’ve been here and this one is the hands down the best. Service was great and sushi is as fresh as they come.

Sashimi is very fresh and serving is big. We enjoy our meal fully. The price is very reasonable and affordable. There is a free parking bay for customer near the shop.

It's a very long wait, so go with friends and enjoy some drinks, the appetizers and the atmosphere. The sushi is definitely worth it. Also have other menu items if raw fish is not your thing.

Get a reservation! Prepare for a relaxed experience and deliciously prepared food especially for you.

An absolute out of this world sushi place. Have really never had anything here I did not like. A must visit for any Okinawa trip. Famous people from all over the world come here for this sushi! It is better than anything else you have had. Yeah maybe it is a little expensive but you don't go to the Ritz Carlton and expect Motel 6 prices, right? So my advice is check it out, give it at least one chance, it is a great experience.

Best sushi on island! I love reading the bad reviews because that’s just less people taking up space in the restaurant! The wait time for sushi can be a while depending on how busy it is. We like to go before 6pm to beat the crowds because it is always busy after 6. Highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you’re going after 6pm. Courteous service and the food is always fresh. Huge cuts of fish in the sashimi and nigiri (check out my pics). If you’re going solo or just two or three guests try for the sushi bar so you can watch Yoshi in action. All the pictures of Yoshi with his celebrity guests are plastered on the walls and are fun to peruse. He makes the best Unagi (bbq eel) I’ve ever had too. Don’t forget to ask him to take a picture with you!
