Great hike, not crowded, but it's a pro level
I would recommend starting by doing Sarmoug vally first and end it up with the last 8 km of Wadi Al Hasa (as I did) this way you have yourself a pro tough trail (see pics attached in the review) 😂

And yes don't do it in July unless you have 5l of frozen water 🤣

Amazing spot, lovely owner (Ali) so relaxing, we had a wonderful sleep by the fresh spring and the hot spring was very relaxing after a long drive in the sun. Definately comming back and staying longer next time.

Very nice Wadi along the Dead Sea. High Water level even in summer. Lots of fun. And since it is a bit off the track and further away than others and less accessible, there not many people, hence not a lot of trash. Really Awesome and Fun. 2 hours away from Amman and you can just do it self-guided.

A wonderful trek, walk up the river in the valley. We walked for 2 hours and saw very few people. Start early, it was getting busy when we came back after 4 hours at 3pm.

We stayed in this magic place the night before we left to come back to our home country. Despite the fact that the location is beautiful what really made it special were the guys working there, especially Ali, with his big smile and great kindness.
The dinner was delicious and we really recommend it!

I visited Alhasa in August, the weather was very hot but the water falling from the mountains was very cold and wonderful. We had a great hiking experience for a full day. I wish I could stayed longer.

Wadi al-Hasa, known in the Hebrew Bible in Wadi Zard. It is a desert valley located in the center of the western part of Jordan, between the governorates of Karak and Tafileh. It extends about 40 km and there are many modern and historical facilities and farms, and the water is not cut throughout the year because of the number of eyes that feed it, especially from the half located in the province of Tafila. It is the longest and widest of the Wadi Mujib, which is located to the north.

The valley forms part of the Dead Sea Basin in Jordan. The valley collects its water from the valleys and desert torrents that reach the basin range to the region of Jafr to transfer to the valley and the Dead Sea. Jordan built a dam in 1999, the Tanour Dam with a storage capacity of 16.8 million m3.

The valley is important for enthusiasts to walk around. Its 30-kilometer route is a popular destination for amateurs in Jordan. Some clubs and clubs organize seasonal tours to tour and usually end in the valley, where there are many hot springs of mineral water, which is said to contain many medical benefits.

The valley has its extension on many farms. Most of them are vegetables, especially in the part before the enlightenment dam. There are also olive and alfalfa trees. There is a lot of groundwater and there are springs and eyes of drinking water and used by the local people, it is also characterized by beautiful landscapes, there is water fence be through time because of water sculpture for stone and a depth of more than six meters and contains water as it is rich in fish as hunted by residents and visitors For the place.

In the valley there are a number of historical places, such as Khirbet al-Tannour and the site of the shrine, which are two Nabataean sites, the most important shrine that contains a temple to the god with urticaria. The valley is sometimes mentioned in biblical texts and is attributed by biblical archaeologists to places in their faith

During the holly month of Ramadan, the Rotary Club of Amman West distributed 1000 of fresh water 12 liter bottles to the local communities as part of the club's CSR as the county (Jordan) had a high heat wave.
