Shobak Castle Visitor Center

The mountain was closed while we were there. There were some Bedouin sheep next to the parking area.

Such a kind en helpful people here! I recommended the Turkish Coffee.

The owner Hussein is extremely attentive. He prepared us a delicious Arabic coffee and explained us a bit about the surroundings and culture. Good stop for a break and refresh yourself! It is open from 8 am till 6 pm.

Nice visitor centre with toilets, souvenir shop and coffee shop. Spotlessly clean, nice terrace with views of castle and very reasonably priced coffee/tea. Lovely man running it took some time out to teach us Arabic and how to make herbal tea -Shukran!

Very nice place , the road to reach there is very enjoyable.

Try to pay with cash.

Kizildeniz'de denize girdikten sonra ugradigim yer...şubat ayinda hava o kadar sıcaktı ki kaleye yürüyemedim...üstelik bir gece önce Petra'da donmustum...Ürdün böyle bir yer...kuzeyinden güneyine bir haftada dört mevsimi yaşadım..hatta aynı gün içinde bile birkaç mevsimi yaşadığım oldu..o yüzden giderken mevsime aldanmayın kışlık yazlık herseyi goturmelisiniz yanınızda..lahana gibi giyinip havaya ve gittiğiniz bölgeye göre giyinmelisiniz

Nous pensions rester 5min, mais nous sommes finalement reste 1h. Un superbe moment passé avec Hussein qui nous a gentiment initié à l'arabe. Profitez en pour prendre un délicieux café à la cardamone.

Hermoso lugar, buenas vistas. Es necesario buen calzado por que el camino es rústico. El túnel es lo mejor, no recomendable para personas claustrofóbicas o con dificultades de caminar o trepar. Se puede hacer con niños pequeños pero es difícil.

Très beau lieu, presque personne le jour où nous y sommes passés. Il y a une très belle vue sur les anciennes maisons troglodytes et sur le paysage.
A faire si vous avez un peu de temps.

Il castello non è ben conservato ed è rimasto poco più dello scheletro, ma l'atmosfera e la posizione sono davvero magiche e suggestive

Ein Umweg lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Ist ein landschaftlich sehr schöne Gegend und eine nette Atmosphäre hier. An der Ruine finden Restaurationsarbeiten statt
