Ajloun Forest Reserve Restaurant

We were a large group, 8 persons. Staff were polite and respectful. All brunch dishes were large and plentiful (Rocca Salad, Hummus, Beetroot Aubergine Mousse, Zaaatar bread, also well decorated). Good quality raw materials (also for the other vegetarian dishes, etc). Clean tables, bathrooms. Only negative point, Americano Coffee (Long Black Coffee) did not taste good. It tasted like a Nescoffee, and we were not able to finish those. Allegedly, it was Folckers Coffee (maybe old?). However, the local Turkish/Arabic coffee served was good.

One of the memorable experiences. The location is breathtaking, overseeing the Ajlun forest. In a clear day you can see Jabal al-Shaykh (al-Shaykh mountain) in Lebanon.

We went there for dinner and we caught the sunset, one of the most spectacular views you'll see in the area. I recommend going there a little before sunset so you can enjoy the view before, during and after.

The service was amazing for that place, we were one of two tables left and the guy helping us was amazing (his name is Suhaib). He's polite, helpful and pleasant to talk with.

The food, we loved everything that was served, we got a BBQ mix, meatloafs (Arayes) and Sajyeh (meat with veggies in a wok), every was delicious, so hats off to the chefs there.

The prices were reasonable and there was no service charges on our bill which is something I appreciate, because the customer should choose if they want to tip, and in this place, it was hard not to tip due to the great service and food.

As for the road, follow the GPS, it's a little curvy due to the location, but you shouldn't have issues getting to it.

Definitely a place to go to more than once.

They have a food buffet on Friday, the food was good, specially the grilled chicken, and the kunafa was one of the best I tasted in Jordan, the hiking trails is not suited for old people.
