Wadi Dana trail

In the dry season this is a pretty easy trail for beginner hikers who have a little experience with hiking and climbing. It starts near Dana village and ends at Feynan Ecolodge. There are two spots in the canyon where there are large clusters of trees so you'd have to climb up the rocks to get around them. If you do not want to hike back, arrange with your camp to have a car waiting for you at the Ecolodge, or spend a night there (it's really expensive though).
Do not attempt to go through if you think it's about to rain. I got caught in a flash flood and hailstorm, and had to be rescued by Bedouin guides late at night. Start before noon, so that you can reach the lodge before evening, since it takes 2-3 hours to go around back to Dana village.

Randonnée sans intérêt particulier. Les paysages sont montagneux, secs, rocailleux mais le meilleur point de vue est au départ et la vallée complètement asséchée n'a pas d'intérêt particulier. Si c'est sur votre route sur un trek de plusieurs jours alors c'est très bien mais sinon ça ne vaut sans doute pas le détour. Pratiquement l'ensemble du chemin est sur des pistes de 4x4. Le début de la randonnée descend très rapidement de 400m D- puis faux plat descendant jusqu'à l'eco-lodge de Feynan qui n'a pas plus d'intérêt. Si vous êtes habitués à randonner en montagne alors vous serez sans doute déçus. Sinon, le sentier n'offre pas de difficulté particulière. Peut également se faire en trail running pour les amateurs.
