I stayed at Beit Al Baraka on two occasions and enjoyed my stay very much both times. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and ready to help with anything they could.
The lower terrace and rooftop terrace are fabulous places to wind down at the end of the day with a cup of mint tea. And the views from the roof are quite spectacular looking over an area where Jordan, Palestine/Israel, Lebanon and Syria intersect.
As a base for exploring the ancient Roman ruins, going on some trail walks, Beit Al Baraka cannot be beaten!

The trip to Bait Al Baraka was exceptional in every way. The entire experience was perfectly curated. Homemade breakfast was phenomenal and the service was great at all hours of the day. The activities we chose were hiking, biking, and home made lunch - they all exceeded our expectations. I’d highly recommend this experience, it’s truly worth it.

I could stay at Beit Al Baraka for weeks. The space is beautiful and full of thoughtful touches. I especially love the funky heater in the living room. Um Qais is also really one of Jordan’s hidden gems: A site of ancient Roman ruins, a stunning location for hiking, and, sitting right at the border of Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon nearby, a place that invites contemplation of the Levant’s contemporary history. The local guide, Ahmad Al-Omari, knows the area intimately and is a great storyteller. AND the food, cooked by locals, is amazing.

Loved everything about our trip!
It took us around 1.5 hours to get to the place from Amman.
The rooms, the cleanliness and the food exceeded our expectations.
The staff were also very hospitable (Walid, Um Oday and Um Mohammed)

Beit Al Baraka is a destination that's great for foreigners as well as locals wanting to explore some hidden gems in Jordan. We went for a day trip and tried out the stone masoning and bee keeping, we enjoyed both of them very much. All the people involved with Beit al baraka are very kind and very hospitable. The drive to Um Qais was absolutely beautiful and the views in Um Qais were also amazing especially Golan and Lake Tiberias. We would definitely pay Beit Al Baraka another visit soon especially after we took a tour around the bed and breakfast as well as the archeological sites in Um Qais. Definitely a ten out of ten experience.

Beit Al Baraka for sure is a house of blessing. The smell of breakfast in the morning feels like a blessed home, Rania is the best, she was able to accommodate all of our needs. The rooms are clean and the experience is 10/10.

We had the opportunity to experience authentic Jordanese-Palestinian cuisine through home-cooked meals for breakfast (and dinner in a nearby place). You meet with real people that care for you because they really do, not because their job requires it. Very authentic experience. Don't forget to go for dinner at Bein Ne'la's place and try some of the delicious homemade marmalades from citrusy fruits they made. Umm Qais archeological site is within 10 minutes of walking distance and the view of Golan heights is amazing. This is a bed & breakfast type of accommodation with a lovely garden full of oranges, leons, and mandarin oranges. Staying at this type of accommodation helps local women to earn some extra income.

Best thing about the place is the attention to detail. Beautiful designed and positioned between local houses in the area, you get to experience the fresh cozy life of Um Qais and it's warm people. Staff are super friendly and the place is clean. Breakfast has to be booked beforehand, but everything else is provided. Very close to the historical site. Recommended for families and large friend groups. Make sure you visit their lovely garden downstairs!

Amazing experience !
We stayed there one night, enjoyed a marvellous diner made by local community.
The next morning, an amazing breakfast waited for us before our half day hike with Ahmad.

I definitely recommend to stay there if you want to visit north of Jordan.

The owners were extremely friendly. We were welcomed with a fresh juice upon our arrival. We stayed in the three rooms on the top floor, where there is a kitchen, full of fresh products to which the owner told us to help ourselves, a large and comfortable living-room, and two bathrooms with hot water. The rooms are spacious, well-lit, very clean and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast, which were both incredibly tasty with a wide variety of local dishes and generous portions. I highly recommend this guesthouse!

What a gem! We learned about this place from some other travelers and changed our plans to stay there. The bed-and-breakfast was fantastic, the house was so comfortable and homey feeling. All the travelers we encountered were pleasant as were the staff. And the breakfasts were to die for, the best we had in our two weeks in Jordan

My stay at Beit al Baraka was a dream! A beautiful location and close to the Um Qais historical site. The rooms are clean and wonderfully decorated. The rooftop is a beautiful place to watch the sunset. The staff organized a hike and bike ride for me, both of which were perfect. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back!

Me and my partner stayed here in April 2019. It's such an amazing accommodation. We wish we'd stayed longer and done some of the amazing activities they had on offer. Umm Qais was one of our favourite places in Jordan and I think a little overlooked. We will definitely be returning. While in Umm Qais I proposed to my girlfriend. When back in the UK I got in touch with The Baraka Team and asked if they could send over some wildflowers from the Umm Qais area for our wedding. And, Muna has been unbelievably patient with my constant questions. And today I've just received the flowers and a wonderful card. The people of Jordan amazed us with the hospitality and friendly nature. And they continue to do so even after leaving Jordan. Thank you so much. And we look forward to seeing you guys again! Thomas
