It was our anniversary so we decided why not try Nanny Falls and we were glad we did. The service provided was top class, Deino our tour guide taught us alot about Moore Town and the history of the Maroons. Our trip to the water falls was nothing short of amazing. We learnt types of trees and medicinal plants along the route. The cascading falls took our breath away. Once you enter you can literally feel the ancestos spirits looking over you. I sensed it and my husband sensed it also, that's how I know it real. We had maroon lunch afterwards which included tafu yam, run-dung with salt fish and sorrel drink and moscato wine. Wear comfortable clothing, mosquito repellant and water shoes, rocks tend to be slippery.
