Thank you Docter Scott, our tour guide, for the wonderful tour today, for all your stories, for all you showed us, all smells and tastes. First walking and swimming through the cave, then a tour through the town called Roaring River. Ending up with a delicious (yet quite pricy) Jerk Chicken, as we built up a good appetite. Docter Scott never rushed anything, and really made our day.

Big up to Robert the best tour guide ever! He went above and beyond plus very knowledgeable! We had an amazing time and even swam in the blue hole pool which is over 150 ft deep. Loved this experience ❤

Definitely worth a visit to the spectacular caves and blue hole. Beautiful foliage and river, guided by the very informative Rasta Robert. Thanks for a memorable trip, Robert.
Side note to management: as a spiritual place for many, some folks leave coins, sticky notes, flowers etc in the caves, despite a "no foreign objects " notice. Please enforce this rule. It cheapens the experience and makes a wonder of nature look tacky. Litter and plastic cups/bottles along the path spoils it too.

What a gem. Unreal. The walk up to the entrance of the cave was breathtaking. So much green. So much water. Beautiful. The trees are well loved and looked after by the guides. Our guide was patient and knowledgeable and obviously loves the place. Going into the cave is breathtaking. Take a minute to get your eyes adjusted and absorb the serene feeling. The shapes and formations are fun and fascinating and there is so much to see. Our guide had so many funny anecdotes and interesting stories but best of all he gave us a few minutes to enjoy the experience. We went to the mineral pool and sat in there feeling the energy and enjoying the space. Well worth the trip. If you go, you pay an entrance fee for the upkeep of the grounds but the guides work for tips (we found this put after we left and I was sorry I didnt know this before)

We loved it ! Very nice and vivid river with a nice village upstream. Some locals are a pain offering guidance but don't take it bad and refuse several times frimly.
We turned left just before the official entrance which is the local access (bad road going down). There you can bath and for Adventurous like us, walk upstream with watershoes, they were some ropes at disposal.
Don't stop at the entrance of the cave and visit the village after. Community is nice and we even ended up sleeping to a local that night.
You will also see a beautiful source where the water appears from underground with flying fishes.
We didn't visit the caves

Beautiful cold spring, explore the cave, bathe at the mouth of the spring, or in the rolling rapids down stream. Explore the surroundings, discover the blue hole, and the stream coming out of the mountain side, make it a day trip, or just drop by for a refreshing swim.

Great experience with a history lesson included!!! The cave was amazing; what a work of art!! The springs have healing properties with the minerals. I even got to swim it the lower section. So glad we did it!!! Our Rasta tour guide was great too! So knowledgeable 💙💙💙

Nice calm place to see so many natural and beautiful things. I swam in the mineral water and you can also jump from a small bridge into. You can walk up to the top of the mountain.

As you approach the main entrance the road goes straight on to the main tourist area or you can turn left and go to the free local part. We went on a bank holiday to the local area so it was quite busy and noisy with several DJs playing in the 3 or 4 bars/restaurants serving the usual stuff.. Plenty of kids jumping off the bridge into the water. It made a nice added attraction coming back to Negril after visiting black River. By the way, there are guides offering a tour of the caves for $1000ja.

Free of charge, there is a tour component offered by local guides that you'll have to tip. Not ideal for non-swimmers. Very beautiful
