Shades of Elegance Salon and Spa Jamaica: Old Harbour

Well, well, well... the first impression wasn't good, we were very early and they were pretty late. I was surprised at the location but there is actually parking on the property. Once we got to starting our services, we realized that the place was pretty good. The interior is primed to receive many customers for the purpose of wedding party or just a girl's hangout, or men. Smile 😃.

The best part of the experience was being able to sit beside my husband while having the services done.

I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a get away in the country with friends or loved ones.

I loved the experience! The staff are very polite, the ambience is welcoming and relaxing, and the service was great!

I booked my grandma a birthday mani pedi with them back in February and she sang their praises for days!! She was treated so well -they even gave her a little cupcake and champagne as a birthday treat and sent a video of the experience to me. She felt like so very special.

Fast forward today, I’m home in Jamaica to visit and needed a quick wash and blowout. I was in the chair as soon as I got there. The ladies were polite and efficient. And my hair feels great - so soft and smooth!

10/10 experience. I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the old harbour area and looking to be well taken care of!

Very good place for relaxation. The staff is professional and accommodating. Special big up to two wonderful lady that made the day a success, Novia and Chantal.

The atmosphere of the establishment was good, the employees were very courteous and engaged me in conversations. It was my first time there so I appreciated the warmth. Looking forward to going back

The service was excellent,relaxing ,the staff pleasant,knowledgeable. During the process she explain each process and the benefits. The result is excellent my face is looking radiant ,smoothed and soft. Definitely will recommend family and friend.

I went for my birthday it's was an experience and more the staff was absolutely friendly and courteous they even sang and gave me cupcakes and the Brazilian was was my first time and they made sure I was comfortable

The first time I visited Shades of Elegance I was so sick. I felt as if my whole body needed a makeover and best believe that's exactly what I received that day. The staff was very professional. They ensured that I got the best treatment especially knowing I was not feeling well. The staff is very knowledgeable and this goes a long way in ensuring customers receive the best treatment possible.

Since my first visit I've been back many times and will continue to use this business for my beauty services. Every single time I visit to access one of their services I leave feeling rejuvenated physically and emotionally. This is truly a gem in the heart of Old Harbour for women to be transformed inside out.

After being discouraged from going there, I did anyways. From arrival to departure was great. Alonzo was very professional and respectful, Dane was very jovial and Treacha was very knowledgeable and attentive. She was able to inform me of what was going on in my body from just the texture of my hair.
It was also great to see that the owner, Treacha, employed without discrimination; I loved seeing this.

Honestly my trip to Shades of Elegance was “buck up” lol always seen it and said I so wanna go here but couldn’t find the time anyhoo I got to go and people let me tell you from I entered the door this place was just so nice and the guy at the front desk was very helpful calming me down because I was in such a rush lol BUT let me tell you it was well worth it!!!!! The staff and boss lady very understanding, pleasant ,customer service on point for me which is normally my biggest turn off in places. You must know I had to give this testimonial and I went there a few weeks ago but my phone got messed up but fly high fly low I wanted to give them a review💜 loved it will be back

Shades of Elegance is an excellent choice if you are looking for a salon that offers top notch customer service by professionals who love what they do. At all times they aim to ensure that their customers are happy with the service.
On my very first visit I went after closing time, despite this they were courteous and hospitable. I figured if they were so accommodating after closing hours, I can’t foresee not having the same wonderful experience during their regular operating time.

After much done research, I found Shades of Elegance.. what drew me to them originally was that they had a professional website. After that I looked at the nail photos and found them to be flat and natural (as own nails) just how I like them! When i arrived at my appointment the receptionist was really friendly and helpful, and then I sat with Moya who done my nails - and i absolutely love them. So much so, I returned a week later to get my toes done to match!! Would definitely recommend this business, and will for sure be returning :-)

Going into shades of Elegance for the first time to have my relaxed hair treated, I was amazed by the ambiance. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and highly professional.
I went there with my hair looking a whole messs. And I tell you, when the owner (Trisha) sat down with me and told me all she was gonna do for my hair..... I was blown away to see the three Weeks result in my hair. Wonderful transformation. The scalp treatment worked well. My hair felt amazing and the breakage was reduced significantly. I walked out of that salon 3 weeks after walking in there for the first time... BRAND NEW HAIR. I must say Trisha knows what she's doing. And she works so well with her staff. I would recommend this salon to anyone who has relaxed hair problems like me. Keep up the good work!

Very amazing customer service. Takes time with what they do. The owner is also a perfectionist so it makes for a flawless set everytime.

Went there today for an eyebrow tinting and ended up with a pedi as well. I was met at the front by Jellissa who was so very pleasant and accommodating. She also did my pedi which was a great first experience as well. Treacha did my brows and she was very professional and warm and welcoming as she walked me through. I feel like a new person. 😄

I booked my wax appointment with shades of elegance, the appointment was rescheduled, I was upset at first but after, Trisha called and apologized . Trisha was so professional, she treated me well, my legs feel so soft and smooth and even my brazilian was good. Thank you Trisha. My body feels brand new. I will definitely be back

I underestimated shades of elegance I was listening to what others say but let me tell you people not everything people say is true don't take it for gospel. I went there for my birthday and I can tell you I can say it loud and proud it's the best birthday ever!! I feel loved it feels as if they knew me long time ago they're friendly kind they even surprise me omg was so unexpected. I'm definitely going back there and imma recommend shades of elegance to everyone.
