I attended a funeral there on Saturday last October 5.

Halifax is located in South West St Ann way up in the hills of Alexandria. It is very cool and quiet.

The scar of bauxite mining is evident all about the community.

I saw some cows on what appeared to be mined out lands. The cows seemed to have been struggling to find a sensible patch of grass.

The community greeted us very well. This was indeed a community funeral.

May Mary's soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine on her.
