Columbus Park

Easy to get to. No entry fees. See a number of artifacts from our colonial past. Move around at your own pace and read the information attached to each artifact. In spite of the blue Ocean backdrop the ground of the park need some redo.

This place is a small decoration showing Antiques and Columbus landing place in Jamaica. According to scientists in this place people from the West first landed on the island. It is between Falmouth and Ocho Rios. The entrance is free. A visit to this place takes 10-20 minutes.

Beautiful views. A little piece of Jamaican history too. Some replica pieces there but still very nice.

The food was great and the service was wonderful. I had Jerk Chicken and the pepper sauce spilled out on my clothes and on my food and the waitress ran over immediately to help and brought me another order because mine was ruined.

It was cool to get some of the history of it. The locals really don't have anything nice to say about Christopher Columbus.

Good place to relax and get a smal meal, we stopped on our way to luminous lagoon.

A must stop for any tourist or locals wishing to experience a travel back in time with a wonderful view of the sea

Interesting. Columbus didn't discover 🇯🇲

This location was one of the highlight of our trip to Jamaica. Our stop at Columbus Park started with a rum punch that was just perfect. Yes, it was only 10:30am but it went down well and tasted like another. By this time it was noon. Therefore, my wife and I decided to stayed for lunch. Our stomach called for the half chicken and rib combo which we shared. I am not a light eater and there was plenty of food for us both. Therefore, we took some back to the condo with us. After taking in the view and making sure sufficient time had passed before driving home. Before driving back to the condo we took some time to take in the view and the crystal clear water view from on high. A more beautiful view might exist but you would be hard pressed to find it. By the way should you get the opportunity to visit Columbus Park ask for James he made our drinks and waited on just with the kindness of a family member. I would highly recommend Columbus Park, the Food and the view....

We visited after dark, but it was lovely. We had a snack at the restaurant adjacent - heavenly breezes and fun music. Its very convenient to get on/off the highway as a landmark.

Be ready for street vendors, remember, never pay full price. The resident "tour guide" is worth a tip though. It is a very historical and beautiful area, you can get views of the boxite mine near by too.

Columbus Park located on the northern coast of Jamaica and have all types of artifacts of arrival of Columbus in the 1492 the houses and talks about Columbus there you can find all different types of the way Jamaican was and in those days it overlooks

This is one of the only drive through museums in jamaica. It’s also in discovery bay where Christopher Columbus first landed in jamaica. You will see a lot of the equipments and artifacts that were used so many hundreds of years ago. It’s quite picturesque. There is also a jerk centre, where you can have some authentic Jamaican jerk chicken or pork. A bar is on site as well, cool off with some red stripe beer or a ginger beer. For those Pokémon players, there is a gym and 2 poke stops here as well. You won’t regret stopping here.
