Great experience. Hospitable host. Wonderful dose of nature. The river is excellent with great views.

The entire place was just surreal. The cost to enter is $500 and typically done by reservations. However taking places does not do justice to how amazing the place looks. There were numerous spots to swim in and have different groups to enjoy themselves

Just came from church outing and the venue was WONDERFUL!!! What's not to like: a cold river running to the right hand side, three pools of water for swimmers and non-swimmers alike, waterfalls, just eight minutes up the road, great space for playing futsol or volleyball, and you get a tent if you request it, areas to sit in a picnic style, and the staff. Rojay, one of the owners, was so helpful and stuck with us throughout the day to help us in anyway he could. I highly recommend this for tourists and yardies alike. Yow, this place lit, sell-off, shot, and if there are any other good descriptive words, they are implied. Big up Breadnut Valley!!! A true Jamaican attraction.

As for my experience, I loved it! The river is cold but what river isn’t!? There is a hike! But! It’s manageable, I’m an average unfit person and I made it I didn’t die nor was I exasperated. It’s great to explore the falls and follow the river you find nice spots all over and if you’re a swimmer or an adventurer you will find joy around every corner 😊 Oh! If you buck up the JPS hydro plant on ur way don’t worry you’re not lost lol GPS will take you to the correct place don’t worry lol just continue driving even after you see the no trespassing sign. I wouldn’t recommend taking young kids (especially if they are non swimmers) because the rocks are slippery and some “stones” are just large mass of clay that as you step on it, it dissolves. Would definitely go back!

Breathtaking. Wonderful nature. All natural family setting and amazing people. Excellent area for large gathering.

For adventurous persons I would recommend, it’s good for picnic and hiking the walk to the river was really good.

The water is cool and clear. Not that many rocks to hurt your feet. The trail beside the river is easy, so don't fear taking a little trek. It's a really beautiful spot for family and friends needing to relax.
Literally one of the best river's I've been to. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Nice rural setting for a picnic/ lyme. Adequate parking, portable loo, and you can make arrangements for other amenities.

A lovely river with 3 waterfalls hidden in Breadnut Valley, Maggotty. Very easy to find, turn right after passing the sign for the JPS hydroelectric station then continue past until you find a wide open space near the river. Park there. The trek from there was max. 15mins to the main waterfall. One of Jamaica's best uncommercialized river spots.

Its a beautiful place to have a nice cool swim and hang out with good friends
