Hertz Autonoleggio - Rome Fiumicino Airport

I read many reviews and encourage me to rent from Hertz.
Pick up was slow employee couldn’t finalize blocking $$$ by credit card . He tried my 4 credit cards and asked me to call my bank . until his colleague nice lady who speaks English helped us , she does his job after waiting 50 min delay .

Car was good not same vehicle .
I booked opel they change it to DR brand new a bit slow SUV (DR brand ).

I would rate drop off my car at Hertz FCO airport Roma 5 stars plus for the good service from Francesca she was very helpful smily 😊 face which rare to find it at Hertz .
Fast in process the rent car return system , physical check in details of the car and ask for our satisfaction from the rental agency

After reading many comments, I doubted to rent at Hertz Rome Fiumicino, even after having rented a few other times in Italy and Spain always having an incredible experience.
I have to clarify that I always pay the SuperCover, since I believe that many (if not all) problems in renting a car, come when not paying full insurance.
This time I became a Gold Member (it is free), in which case you can go directly to the parking area were there is an office too. They gave me the key and we went to the car, FAST AND EFFICIENT experience. I've even had quite a few up upgrades to a Q5 Audi with and incredibly 1000km autonomy. I couldn't be more satisfied.
So my take on this is: PAY the SuperCover ALWAYS + become a GOLD member (free). You''ll be at peace + you won't loose time.

The pick-up was fast and smooth. Even that there were about 10 clients before me, i got my car in 15minutes. The same on car return; easy, fast and smooth. The guy that were at the return section was very chill, communicative and smiley. I got a brand new Tesla Model 3 that was very clean and very beautiful. As a Gold Member of Hertz and a very happy client, I will return very soon.

Excellent service. Had no problems during pick up or drop off. There was an unmarked scratch on the car prior the pick up but I've mentioned it to the staff who rectified it promptly and there were no issues upon return. The quality of the fleet is excellent too and the vehicle felt spotlessly clean which is such an important thing in today's environment.

After reading many car rental reviews in Rome, I was concerned! However, I decided to go with Hertz due to the credibility and the ease of their App. Thankfully, the team were superb with me and my family, and they upgraded us to a 'better' vehicle. Furthermore, we requested two baby car seats, and they were ready at the pick-up - I was concerned they wouldn't be ready!
*To note: I paid for 'Super Cover' and so my experience was stress-free, and I had no issues. From reading reviews, people have had issues because they haven't had the 'Super Cover,' and have had scratches or bumps etc. The cover insured me for pretty much everything that could go wrong.

I returned a car here. No issues with the HERTZ Team. They were prompt and professional. The location was close enough to the terminal. The selection seemed pretty good as well.

Little people, no queue at all upon our arrival, good choice of FIAT cars, though quite a sensitive difference in money for mechanic and automatic ones abt 50 euros.

This was a nice and positive expirience. All the paperwork were prepared before I arrived and my car was ready. They even mailed me which car/model I would get and where it was parked. All in all it took me about 3 minutes to get my car with my gold membership

Follow the signs to car rental return. Hertz is in a garage level 1 (go up one from level 0). Youll need to take a ticket to enter the garage but fear not, 60 seconds later you insert the ticket as you enter level one; there is no charge. We parked and were greeted quickly by a hertz rep.

Great experience with Hertz at FCO. Drop off could not have gone smoother. Very quick and attendant very nice. Same to be said for pick up at the Florence airport. Was quicker than any car I have rented in Hawaii.

Very good rental experience! We booked well on advance and the staff was very helpful. Everyone spoke excellent English, and was able to answer all of our questions. We felt like this was a really great experience, overall given other international rental experiences.

Quick and easy experience for pickup and drop off. Car and paperwork were ready. Polite staff. Will rent car again from Hertz FCO. Tip: If returning to FCO from Rome to rent a car for onward travel in Italy, tell your taxi driver you are going to Hertz. He will drop you off outside the parking garage where Hertz is located. Short walk and elevator ride to their counter.

Easy pickup and return. Vehicle was clean and in very good condition.

Just, make sure to familiarize yourself with the physical rental location, if you are returning the car back to Fiumicino.
It took me a bit of time to find the right entrance when I returned my car.
Overall, great service and customer support.

The best rental experience I have ever had. Arrived an hour before my pickup time and was served immediately and cheerfully at the gold+ counter. Was expecting a Ford Kuga but got a free upgrade to an Audi A4.

We rented a car in Naples and returned it to
Rome airport. When we returned it we noticed that Naples has charged us collision insurance which we had declined. Mustafa was so nice and helpful and took care of everything! He is an asset to your company! I cannot say enough good things about him-he was fantastic!!!

Had a great experience in the beginning the car had problem the change it right away the staff was polite and professional ( except for one person but can happen) loved the car and the fast return

We booked a car with Sicily by Car but was not released our already paid for vehicle because we don’t have a credit card or an IBAN number (even though their website contradicts everything that they told us when we turned up to collect the car).

Thankfully, Hertz accepts debit card payment and deposit! The process was so easy and the staff so lovely.

Will not hesitate to book with Hertz again.

Best car rental experience. Professional suggestion from the staff (saving me money) and there was staff at the car return at 6:15am (officially open at 7am). Amazing! Highly recommend!
