Breath taking views, amazing ski slopes (varying difficulties), lovely instructors and a nice little cafe that serves a great range of hot and cold drinks. There are also clean toilet facilities here.

Besides it being crowed on an opening weekend full of good snow ❄, we enjoyed every minute of it.

Piancavallo, tucked away in the Alps just above Aviano, is a great place to get away and enjoy the outdoors.

With lots of trails for walking and riding a bike or hiking up to the top of the peaks. You can escape the heat during the Summers. While up there you can enjoy a small 18 hole mini golf course or shoot down the mountain coaster. But once the Summer is over these places are closed down getting ready for all the people who come up to play in the snow in the Winters.

Depending on the year you can begin skiing in early December and all the way to Easter. There's both cross country skiing and downhill options. There's also an ice rink. There is plenty for the children too. There's a whole area set aside for kids to play in the snow and go sledding.

Piancavallo also has great dining options. Restaurants like the Taverna all'Urlogallo, the Ristorante con Pizzeria Edelweiss are just two of many options for lunch or dinner. Don't forget to stop and have a coffee and pastry at Bar Cimon.

There are also many options for lodging. Everything from hotels to week or month long stays at apartments.

All in all Piancavallo is a great place to visit most of the year.

Really good piece of ski! Full day 38.5€, students 29€, 5 hours 34€. Good for learners. I did not like one ski lift, because it was dropping the people on the top like bit in Skrillex songs, but the rest was ok.

It's a beautiful mountain ski village and has activities year round. My Bride and I caught an outdoor vendor selling clothes and spent €80 on 3 beautiful dresses! Easy to access, and the drive up and down provides gorgeous views of the Aviano Valley area.

Worth a visit. Skiiing here was a lot of fun and the view is breathtaking

Great Atmosphere! Nice slopes for All levels. A bit expensive =S 38EU a day. Good options tô eat. Try Hotdog menu at Kiosks: 10 EU! 👍👍

My first time here. This place are so beautiful. Good for relax and take fresh air. There have some bar which you can enjoy drink while you are looking the view. I recommend it !!

Grew up skiing here as a kid. Some of the best memories. Absolutely amazingly beautiful place.

It was beautiful as usual, seeing many beautiful happy faces with skis on their feet and having to walk on the road, could not have been comfortable for them. Love to see people happy. We had a nice hot brulé di mele. We will go again.
