The food is really exquisite rustic food and the restaurant level is very high considering it is located deep in the provinces. The crusty character of the owner adds to the charm. Price very reasonable.

Hospitality in this place is amazing! Some of the dishes were a little bit on the salty side, but that's clearly compensated for by the happy and very hospitable host (who doesn't speak a word of english btw). We even received a bottle of wine as a goodbye gift! Never met nicer restaurant owners! Thank you for an amazing experience.

This is the real Italian experience!

What an awesome experience. Gerry does not have a menu. You sit for thirty seconds and he has your starters (antipasti) on the tables. Whoom! Top notch parma ham and self-made bread. What a taste. It was followed by a bean salad. Then Gerry asked us what type of pasta we wanted.

This is not the option for the vegan. But if you are an omnivore, you cannot miss this restaurant. We could walk there. But having been there I would say it’s worth a longer ride.

Next up: noodle phase (primi piatti) with spaghetti bolognaise, moules and risotto as three different courses. All in the middle of the table to share for all participants.

Meat and fish course was impressive. Especially the tuna.

Dessert was a tiramisu and grappa or limoncello. Total bill for 8 was 157 Euros. It was one of the most original and memorable experiences we had. Highly recommended.

One of the best restaurant experiences in a long time:

outside, sunny day, a big table with local workers, got severed their first course, when we arrived.

My wife asked for menu, no menue, Jerry IS the menu, telling you, what's available (it looks like, he prepares different food every day)...

we ordered Angus beef and calamari with salad, but Jerry refused this combination, so my wife got Calamari with chips...

shortly after we got water (we didn't want wine on our cicle-trip) and polenta bread with olive oil and some kind of fresh cheese...

also our main dishes, very tasty.

we ordered two macchiato, together with this Jerry served a very tasty cake.

we've been curious about the bill, but paid only stunning 30 €

One of the best places i have been to in italy. The concept of osteria is held to the letter and although it might seem unorganized the food is just amazing and the owner himself is really fun and kind.
Would recommend 10/10 for anyone that wants to be surprised by the food that is served.

You go to "Jerry" almost as if you went home. He always surprises you with something new and delicious. It is maybe not the fastest service, but it is for sure one of the best in the zone. I was never disappointed by the food and the hospitality here. Warmly recommended.

Home-style food served by an honest and capable owner! Take your picky eating elsewhere and just come here and enjoy whatever is on offer for the day to enjoy some old-fashioned respect and hospitality

Serata con amici spettacolare. Jerry simpaticissimo ti fa sentire a casa con menù unico per tutti. Antipasti per 3 con bruschette formaggina di osmate, salame di lentate, prosciutto crudo di qualità con gnocco fritto. Primo fenomenale risotto castelmagno in forma. Secondo entrecote di Angus con patatine fatte in casa. Dolce chantilly con frutti di bosco, 3 acque, barbera una bottiglia da un litro e mezzo, caffè grappa di barolo il tutto 100 euro in 3. Provare per credere

Piccola osteria, dove Jerry intrattiene e delizia i suoi ospiti con ottimi piatti. Veramente ottimo il risotto al castelmagno servito nella sua forma.

Luogo molto caratteristico come caratteristico è il proprietario (simpaticcisimo).
Veniamo accolti con un antipasto della casa formato da formaggio, salame e pane fatto con farina di polenta; tutto ottimo
Jerry poi ci chiede se vogliamo dello gnocco fritto appena fatto con del prosciutto, ovviamente accettiamo.....da leccarsi i baffi.
Di primo risotto in forma di castelmagno, cotto a puntino e buonissimo
a questo punto saremmo anche pieni ma vediamo passare della carne e chiediamo un assaggio, scelta azzeccata
Vino: bottiglione da litro e mezzo sul tavolo e via con piacere!!!

Uno dei ristoranti con il miglior rapporto qualità prezzo che io abbia mai provato. Jerry è fantastico, un cuoco eccezionale che cerca sempre di accontentare tutti i clienti.

Stavamo tornando a casa da un week end a Laveno, quindi ci siamo fermati per pranzo in questa osteria trovandola nelle vicinanze su Google Maps.
Siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti a partire dall'antipasto del giorno, insalata russa e formaggio spalmabile con delle fette di pane abbrustolite. Come primo piatto abbiamo scelto del risotto ai porcini e un risotto al castelmagno (strepitosi entrambi) e come secondo un filetto Angus (morbidissimo e gustosissimo) con delle patate croccanti e della scarola alla piastra.
Come dolce crostata, ovviamente fatta da loro, alla marmellata o al cioccolato.
Davvero i nostri complimenti.
Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Jerry, il proprietario, persona disponibile, simpatico, bravo e che ti fa sentire a casa. Cibo mooolto buono, abbondante e soprattutto di qualità, provare per credere!

Alcune attese un tantino lunghe, ma alla fine del pasto ne vale la pena.
Ottima la proposta sia del menù di terra, che per quella di mare.

Trattoria semplice vicino al lago con menu sia di terra che di mare. Il titolare ti accoglie con del delizioso formaggio locale poi abbiamo assaggiato gnocco fritto (prosciutto delizioso), paccheri ai funghi e il famoso risotto in crosta di formaggio. Prezzo medio, ci torneremo.

Senza parole, tutto veramente ottimo, piatti freschi con quel tocco di casalingo che non guasta mai, lui è molto attento ai suoi clienti, per non parlare della simpatia.
Ci tornerò sicuramente molto presto.
Oltre a provare diversi piatti, consiglio vivamente di provare il suo dolce. Ottimo

Wir sind spontan gleich zur Öffnung am Abend zum essen gegangen und haben noch einen schönen Platz bekommen. Dann kam auch gleich die beste Vorspeise vom Haus, die wir je gegessen hatten: cremiger, karamelisierter Kürbis mit Parmesan, Frischkäse und krosses Knoblauchbrot! Weiter ging es mit dem seit langem besten Hummer und Meeresfrüchte auf Linguine. Ein kleines und verstecktes Restaurant hat mal wieder überrascht und unsere Erwartungen überboten. Danke!
