Highly recommend! Beautiful, comfortable stay for 10 couples on a gorgeous hilltop overlooking the Cortona area. Gracious hosts who were always available if needed. The cooking class was fantastic and we enjoyed the wine tasting as well. Easy access to other sights in the Tuscany area. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Il Rifugio in September of 2017. Chuck and Shirley pay meticulous attention to detail. The views in all directions are spectacular and the sunsets were memorable. Shirley's cooking classes are excellent and the wine and olive oil that Chuck produces are of the finest quality. Hopefully we can get the family together again and return.

Just got home from a wonderful trip here with my family. The owners Chuck and Shirley are absolutely wonderful people and make you feel very welcome when your staying at il Rifugio. The views here are absolutely beautiful amd the house itself is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. My family and I would highly recommend that anyone spends some time here on a trip to Tuscany!
