Grand Hotel Salsomaggiore

This beautiful hotel located in the heart of Salsomaggiore. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped, stylishly furnished with many in room amenities including mini bar, TV, safe, Wi-Fi internet, yea and coffee making facilities.
The hotel offers two dining options and a stylish bar. It also has a large spa area and indoor pool. It offers guests the choice of massage therapies as well as sauna, steam room, hamam and pool.

I went there for 8 days .. It’s an historic elegant hotel totally renovated in 2017 .. Service is excellent as well as superb restaurant and breakfast buffet
The spa below is huge and included in the room price .. You have 90 m each day
It includes large pool with warm salted water, a small jacuzzi with thermal water from Salsomaggiore, another jacuzzi with regular water, sauna, steam rooms, aromatherapy showers plus huge area to relax in comfortable chairs lounges ( reclined beds)
They also have many massages .. Beautiful surrounding.. extra relaxing …
That in itself it what made me decide to book it
Rooms are soundproof and very elegant with old decor plus minibar etc
I am hoping to go back
Originally it opened at the end of last century and many famous actors and singers and celebrities went there over the years

Great hotel. the room was big,nice, clean and cozy. the spa was perfect.The location was absolutely perfect .Highly recommended.

Beautiful and historical. Impressive design and rooms. Good furniture and comfortable bed. Very nice spa area but could be a bit cleaner. Dog and baby friendly.

A fantastic well restored historic hotel with a big indoor spa in its basement. Well managed and very reasonably priced. Not easy to get to but it's well worth your effort.
