This was a fantastic hotel to stop in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. They have an amazing pool though it is at the bottom of the cliff. The courtyard was wonderful to sit in (and have a peek in the well to see some turtles and fish). The whole building is steeped in history and the old building has a natural cooling effect due to the thick stone walls.

Dinner was expensive here, but would recommend trying at least once, the steak was so tender I cut a piece to try with a spoon.

Location is also great, walked down to amalfi at least twice a day. Rented a boat from the coast and tried a local place to eat every day.

Only wish we could have stayed another week.

Great historic hotel having a beautiful view and a convenient 10-minute walk to the town of Amalfi. Rooms were well appointed and has excellent amenities (restaurants, bar, pool and courtyard. Can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff and level of 5-star service they provided, especially Anthony & Francisco.

Luxurious hotel on the Amalfi Coast. Rooms were amazing with an outdoor sitting balcony to view the water/boats. We ate most of our meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at the hotel because the food and service were so good. The hotel has a pool, reading room, and even laundry service. The staff were also nice enough to give us a complimentary welcome champagne for our honeymoon. Overall, a really nice hotel-so nice we didn't want to leave the hotel much!

Very nice hotel! Friendly staff! Perfect location. Beautiful pool down the cliff. Amazing view. Short walk to the centrum, which is a very cozy little village, but can get a bit crowded. If you want a special dinner, book a table. The hotel is an old cloister, they have taken care of the history, and made a very good atmosphere. Better breakfast with a view is difficult to find.

Wonderful experience at Hotel Luna. All of the staff are incredible - they are so welcoming and helpful. The front desk is so friendly, and the breakfast team is incredible and will deliver anything you desire. The location is close enough to Amalfi without the chaos, plus the views from every room are incredible. The style of the hotel is historic and charming with a wonderful evening drink service in the 12th century courtyard. The pool and access to the sea was a wonderful addition - we swam many days after hot days of sightseeing. Be sure to use the somewhat hidden pedestrian tunnel to Amalfi right by the hotel!

A beautiful historic hotel. This is not a modern chain hotel, this is like stepping back into another era. Beautiful paintings are dotted around the reception and restaurant area. The pool and beach has to be the best on the entire Amalfi coast, absolutely stunning. The staff are friendly and attentive, the restaurant is great (amazing views!), and breakfast is plentiful. It's not cheap to stay here but I'd say it's worth every penny.

Gorgeous hotel with amazing staff and service. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool and sea access was amazing and the location was great with a short walk to Amalfi or Atriani. The breakfast every day was wonderful. The courtyard was set up for afternoon spritz. Our room had two amazing balconies with views of the sea and Amalfi. We hope to return!

It’s like staying at an old historic museum. I liked it and thought it was quite an experience. The beaches are like 30 euros so it’s really nice that this hotel has a pool and lounge seats and you can jump in the water from the rocks as well. Great restaurant in the hotel too with great views.

Loved our 6 night stay here. Location is perfect for exploring the Amalfi Coast (no stairs!!). Pool and private access to the ocean was amazing, saving you €60 per day on sun beds at other beach clubs. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they assisted with booking restaurants, transfers and boat tours.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Sept 2023 and can’t say enough about how wonderful it is from the location to the rooms and staff, not to mention it’s an old monastery. I only have given it 4 stars on the rooms because they are a bit dated but work perfectly with the ambiance of the hotel. From the porters to the front desk and wait staff everyone was exceptionally friendly too. We will go back again. 😘

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The staff was so kind and hospitable and our room was very nice and clean. Attached is a photo from our room balcony. It is about a 5 minute walk from the city center (where you can conveniently reach the bus and ferry stop or taxis if you’re planning a day trip) but you still have an amazing view of the city from the hotel and it is situated directly in the middle between Amalfi and Atrani. We are so thankful we chose this hotel for our trip to Amalfi! Thank you again, Hotel Luna Convento!

Wow! Arrived today and Agnes checked us in and gave us a tour of the hotel and of our room… she was very professional and welcoming.. then when we entered our room we had the most amazing view and beautiful room! My family and I can’t be more thrilled. And we haven’t even stayed in the beds yet…When we booked I had emailed Antonio asking to see if we could get a room with a balcony and he said he would try because some of the deluxe rooms don’t come with a balcony… but the staff delivered! It has surpassed our expectations and we have only just begun our stay..

Incredible location, continental breakfast was great, views/location were amazing. Pool was perfect as well. Wi-Fi worked well, had a fantasy draft while I was there and was able to conduct my business just fine! Would highly recommend

We stayed two nights in the tower suite! Amazing views in this 1200 year old hotel! The breakfast was great! We picked this location to see the Amalfi coast from as it was central! The tower was an amazing experience! It is across the road from the main hotel but it is worth it for the experience of staying in the tower and having the views! Highly recommend!

We were just at this beautiful hotel at the beginning of June. We found the view to be breathtaking at ever corner! Our rooms were so clean & comfortable not to mention very pretty. The staff was very accommodating. The servers in the restaurant were very helpful and spoke good English, we appreciated that! The front desk staff was amazing as well! The food was the best in that area! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!!

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic position situated on the headland, a 5 minute walk into the centre of Amalfi. The swimming pool is down a steep staircase at the bottom of the rocks with amazing views and you can access the sea for swimming here too. Can't rate the staff highly enough and the old cloisters in the centre of the hotel are just beautiful and is a bit of a quiet oasis where you can enjoy a drink under the lemon trees. Food is great too. We had a balcony room with stunning views over the bay.

Beautiful hotel, and excellent service. Best pool experience in Amalfi.... It had a great pool and a place to jump off the rocks (about 6 meters high) into the ocean!

Wonderful continental breakfast. Very easy walk into town...5 minutes away. Try and get an ocean view room!

Beautiful hotel in an old convent/monastery. Easy walk up the hill from the downtown/ferry. Breakfast is included in a very nice dining room. Pool is very nice and right on the water. Also have private access to the sea from stone steps down into the water. Highly recommend as a place to stay in Amalfi.

We are on a Perillo Tour. This is our hotel for 4 nights. I saw the photos and thought no way it’s that nice. It actually is better. Hotel Luna has exceeded our expectations as has Perillo Tours. Truly the trip of a lifetime.

Such a great location! The private pool area with the cliffs are spectacular! The views are amazing from all of the hotel. The staff is super friendly. The location is great, near the center of Amalfi with buses end ferries leaving for other great nearby places. Breakfast is good.

Stayed here for 5 nights, and would like to come back. Would like to keep this gem secret. The rooms are a bit worn and dated though, and there's a high price tag to it. But all in all, loved our stay!
