Villa Rosa residences

We stayed at Villa Rosa Residences in October for 4 nights. Luciano the manager is very nice and always on hand if you need advice. We didn’t know about the 200 Euro deposit until the confirmation email so it threw me slightly but wasn’t a problem. When you get close to the gate from the road there is a one way system so you could be stuck there for 15 minutes so be careful if you’ve hired a car like we did. There is parking allocated to you and sun beds round the pool. The view is unbelievably beautiful as you can see in the pictures I’ve added. The room was clean but very basic. We struggled a little bit with phone charging etc as there were only 2 plugs that take adapters, wifi is excellent. The two single sofa beds aren’t great and could do with updating to two doubles so you have plants of room to stretch out. The recycling isn’t a problem, we do it back here in the UK. If you want to go into Ravello you will need to get a taxi or drive it’s not an easy walk at all. Attrani is easily accessed by walking. But be prepared for a hard and challenging walk down into Attrani square which is at the bottom of the steps leading from the villa. You won’t do it in sandals and will need good footwear it was 529 paces with over 350 steps on a steep hill.
Overall loved it and would stay again 5 star ++

Wonderful place, close to Amalfi, Atrani and Ravello. As everyone said, you need to go up the hill (~400 steps), but it's absolutely worthy! The view is breathtaking and the apartment has everything you need, if you need something else you can always ask for help to the host. Luciano is incredibly nice and kind, giving you plenty of hints for your stay! Plus, his English is really good.
We liked Villa Rosa, you can enjoy the pool during your stay, go for a walk in Amalfi, go to the beach or take a boat and visit the coast!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. Highly recommend.

Luciano greeted us and was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. We were prepared with our deposit and Luciano was very chilled out about it even when we were slightly short of the cash – however we just went to a cash point and gave it to him the next day.

Luciano also explained the situation with sorting the trash. This is something we read in previous reviews too and were confused about. However, the Amalfi Coast is a UNESCO site, and I expect there are very particular rules about recycling/garbage etc to protect this status. Hence, we set aside some time and effort (not long) to respect this and had no issues.

The location is about a 20 minute walk to Amalfi itself – the closest piazza by foot is Atrani
which also has a small beach area that is much less busy than Amalfi. Hence the area overall is less touristy which we loved.

We had read reviews about the many steps up to the apartment and were prepared, however altho I am not the most physically fit I managed to walk up and down the steps multiple times a day (with breaks). This is of course one minor cost of being more inland, but worth it to have the most beautiful views the higher up you go.

The apartment itself had all the amenities we needed; the shower was great, bed was comfortable, and we had access to a little kitchenette which was clean and with some basic products etc. Also, we were able to wash some clothes in the communal washing room which was very helpful.

Lastly, Luciano was super accommodating on our last day. As it was a public holiday we were worried about public transport, so he organised us a transfer back to Naples which we really appreciated as it was VERY last minute. He let us hang out by the pool while we sorted ourselves out and he also told us that if we needed anything even while we were in Naples that we could contact him – this was extremely kind of him and much appreciated!

Overall, we loved it!
HIGHLY recommend visiting Ravello / Villa Cimbrone (maybe via bus for the way up!).

100% need to stay here if you are visiting the Amalfi Coast. It is the perfect location, you are about a 7 minute walk from Atrani, and 15 minutes to Amalfi. The residence is absolutely gorgeous, very clean, very quiet and peaceful, tucked away from the madness of Amalfi.

The view and the location exceeded our expectation. I highly recommend staying here if you want to cruise along the Amalfi Coast. It's not too touristic, the pool is great and Luciano will make sure you enjoy your stay.

We loved staying here. The views, the walk down to Atrani & the beach. The walk up to Ravello just a once in a lifetime experience. Holy Saturday we arrived from Roma. Attended Easter mass in the famous green domed church by the sea. Had Easter fest at the restaurant on the beach. Don’t miss Villa Cimbrone in Ravello. Great chamber music & symphonies over looking La costiera amalfitana. Brava Ravallo. Ciao

Amazing little top villa, part of 3/4 villas. The smallest by accommodation but had the largest terrace. They all have fantastic views of the town Atrani. Some 380 steps down to town via old paths, connecting the houses of locals. The steep driveway down to the villas which all have their own parking spaces is not for the faint hearted, and i wouldn't try it with a car any larger than the one I hired Fiat 500, no really I don't think you would get round the corners. If your not physically fit or have walking issues then perhaps look elsewhere. Villa Rosa is situated about 45/60 min from an upward walk to Ravello, which is well worth the visit.

Difficult to get to but, absolutely beautiful locations. Open ridge with views of artisan church. Cascading hills with fruit ( figs, lemons, grapes) available for grab.

Best place in the world.

Wspaniałe miejsce! Przepiękny widok, dostępne atrakcje w pobliżu. Do Amalfi chodziliśmy na nogach. Idealne miejsce do wypoczynku dla osób, które kochają morze, długie spacery, przechadzanie się po włoskich uliczkach, piękne widoki, rejsy promami.
Trudny dojazd do parkingu na posesji jeśli ktoś pakuje się tam dużym samochodem.
Opiekun obiektu bardzo dbał o nasz komfort. Po drodze do Amalfi była wypożyczalnia skuterów.
W obiekcie znajdował się ogród cytrynowy, którego braliśmy świeże cytryny i wyciskaliśmy z nich sok. To był najlepiej spędzony czas wakacji we Włoszech od 5 lat.

Camere deliziose e ben fornite. La vista è decisamente unica, spettacolare e impagabile. Scalini e strada impervia per raggiungere la struttura, ma una volta che arrivi in cima e hai un panorama del genere dimentichi decisamente tutto. Proprietari gentilissimi!!! Hanno anche la piscina, non puoi desiderare di meglio!

Es ist ein Fleck Paradies auf Erden.
Meine Lebensgefährtin und ich kamen im August für eine Woche in die Villa Rosa und waren schon beim ersten Betreten der Anlage begeistert. Der Gastgeber empfing uns herzlich und zeigte uns alle wichtigen Bereiche.
Die Amalfiküste ist sowieso eine Reise wert, aber selbst wenn sie von heute auf morgen verschwinden würde, wäre alleine für die Villa Rosa die Reise wert!

Leider hatten wir während unseres Aufenthaltes einen kleinen Unfall, bei dem sich meine Lebensgefährtin den Fuß brach. Bei den ganzen Stufen zwischen Atrani und Ravello wirklich nichts, was man sich wünscht. Luciano, unser Gastgeber half uns jedoch von abends bis mitten in die Nacht hinein mit Auto- und Rollerfahrten zwischen der Unterkunft und dem Krankenhaus, übersetze für uns, organisierte uns Taxis und Krücken. Es war einfach nur rührend, wie er sich ohne zu zögern um uns kümmerte.

Wer an die Amalfiküste kommt, muss hier übernachten!!

Wunderschön gelegene Unterkunft. Appartement/Haus, mit Terrasse und Swimmingpool. Mitten in der Natur. Mediterrane Ausstattung. Mit dem Vermieter hat alles gut geklappt. Pool ist leider nur zeitlich begrenzt nutzbar.

Magnifique localisation, appartement bien équipé.

Pas très loin d'Amalfi à pied, prendre en considération qu'il y a beaucoup de marche!

200€ est requis comme dépôt mais est remis au départ.
