What a memorable lunch just steps away from the Ligurian Sea! Super romantic place for just two or we enjoyed with a group of friends sitting under the enclosed outdoor gazebo. The waitstaff was incredible the serving portions really large so we split both an appetizer (the octopus) and a main (The Fried). Don't miss out on a Lemoncello Spritz by Claudia!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Prua in Liguria, and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view of the sea. The combination of live music and the overall ambiance created a delightful atmosphere that added to the enjoyment of the evening.

For the main course, I opted for the seabass, mixed grill, and seafood pasta. The seabass was expertly prepared and had a delicate flavor that melted in my mouth. The mixed grill was a delightful medley of different seafood options, each cooked to perfection. However, the seafood pasta, while tasty, had a slightly sweet undertone that may not be to everyone's preference. It was still enjoyable, but I would have preferred a more savory taste.

Throughout the evening, the live music enhanced the dining experience. It created a lively and entertaining backdrop, further adding to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. I found myself tapping my foot and thoroughly enjoying the music.

La Prua in Liguria is a must-visit restaurant for seafood enthusiasts. The quality of the seafood is exceptional, and the appetizers and fried options are particularly noteworthy. While the seafood pasta was a bit sweet for my taste, it was still enjoyable. The live music, great view, and inviting ambiance make for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend La Prua and look forward to returning in the future.

Alassio can be a bit up market, feel a bit snobby and touristy. Consequently some of the restaurants in Alassio are very expensive and not very interesting. La Prua stands out from the crowd and sets itself apart from the wannabe restaurants of Alassio. Boasting the mare / monte flavours of Liguria this restaurant raises some basic Ligurian dishes to Michelin standard. The wine list is excellent, and you can find very nice and interesting bottles at decent prices. The service was polite and attentive, sitting on the beach to eat was magical. The whole experience was very special and I will be back to dine again.

Great ambience, as the tables are right on the beach. Its michelin ranked as of 2018 and worth it. The prices are not too high and menu is not too big, but everything is worth it. Especially the view. And the waiting personell are very professional.

The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. All waiters were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was full, but the waiters did not let the stress show.

Very good fish restaurant

Went for lunch. Had the seafood pasta and mixed grill. Can recommend both. The pasta has a sweet sauce. We initially thought it’s chutney, but it’s actually a sweet tomato sauce.

The restaurant La Prua is a must. I personally recommend asking for Claudia, great and kind waitress. The food is great (I am Italian and I am picky so you can trust me): I had an octopus and fried mixed fish - also, despite being with 3 children they were all kind and Claudia was super nice. Great place to be, sea view is astonishing.

Lovely setting by the beachfront and fantastic seafood. Large local wine list to match the local cuisine. Nice and quick staff.

This is a special restaurant in Alassio. We had the catch of the day in salt crust and it was fantastic! Didn‘t have such a good fish in a long time or in other restaurants in Alassio. Price is higher than in other restaurants but appropriate for this food an service. Thanks to the team for their effort and the tasting bits for free!
