Funivia del Renon, Soprabolzano

Amazing views of the surrounding area of Bolzano from the gondola ride. It takes 12 minutes to reach the top. Once in Soprabolzano take the train over to Collalbo, it takes about 30 minutes and the scenery is amazing.

Great way to travel and get really fast to Bolzano/Renon without having the trouble of finding parking. The view from the cable 🚠 is spectacular and the kids were real thrilled about it.

Cable car was well worth the 10€. Spectacular views, and I would also recommend the train ride for an additional 5€. You can get off and look around, or walk to the next spot along a well maintained walking trail.

Excellent trip up the Ritter mountain from Bolzano. The views were across to the Dolomites and for an Englishman, like nothing else seen before. Well run, efficient and good value.

Amazing views and hiking even in the snow, plus the cable card ride should not be missed. Bring a packed lunch as there are not a lot of restaurants at the top.

We could have gone by car to Soprabolzano but we decided to travel with funivia del Renon instead. The step in point is Bolzano is very close to the Bolzano trainstation. Tickets are not to expensive and the wait was non existent. The carriages are big and light. The ride up to Soprabolzano gives you an amazing view of Bolzano

Soprabolzano was my go to location on a Saturday just to get away from the world. Hike, brunch or to relax.... You will enjoy this trip. There is also a train that takes you through some mystical locations.

Gorgeous views of Bolzano. Seems too easy to get to this place considering how high up the mountain and beautiful it is!

Fast, comfortable and very enjoyable ride up to Sopra Bolzano/Oberbozen. As usual, reflecting glass and interior lights pose a slight annoyance to photographers, but as it's first and foremost public transport - it performs very well.

It was the longest ride i'v experienced so far.. Was Great and relaxed.

As like other cable car rides, this one to is an exhilarating trip up to Soprabolzano where you can always take a train ride immediately outside the upper station.

Twenty minutes ride with great views. Bolzano station is about 0.5 km walk to the old town. Soprabolzano is a cute little hilltop hotel area. Great option for dinner for the views, or for accommodation instead of Bolzano.

What a great contrast. Bolzano is nice, but once the cable car whisks you up to Ritten it's a different, amazing world of rolling meadows, pretty Dolomite villages, cowbells and the most amazing views. Well, well worth the trip.
