Hotel Portavescovo

Only had dinner there as half board package. They offer 3 dishes in 3 different choices, selected one day ahead. Good food, different every day. Some portions were small but the free appetisers from the open buffet are a huge plus.

I've just had one of the best holidays of my life at the Portavescovo. It is really well located for the many runs in and out of Arabba. The food was great, as was the service. The staff were welcoming. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy, but that is more to do with the bin lorry doing the rounds at 5am and there is not a lot that the hotel can do about that.

The rooms could do with some modernisation. The rest of the hotel is perfect!

Very nice hotel with friendly and caring staff. The owner was helpful with any question I had to include helping me get my son to a doctor late in the evening. Meals were great and the dining room staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The dinner each evening was multiple courses and all were great. The breakfast and dinner buffets were always stocked up until closure. Awesome Christmas cake for desert! Great location with an easy 120 meter walk to the ski lift. Would stay again and recommend it to others!

Rooms are simple but clean. Service is perfect. The quality of breakfast and lunch is super! Families are welcome. Good place in the Center of Arabba.

Staff were very friendly, rooms were perfect and the food was amazing. Very reasonably priced for all the amenities you receive. Slope side , so it’s the perfect place to stay while skiing in the Dolomites. Can’t wait to come back in December of 2022!

You should know this is hotel with 3*** stars and for 3*** it is excellent. It has wellness where is sauna, pool, massage etc... The room was clean, big only the matress was really little old but we(2people) got 4 beds in our rooms so we just change it for the better one. The village is small however is alive.And if you decided to go skiing here the location of hotel is EXCELLENT(1min by walk!) 👌👌 Breakfast and dinner are very delicious and staff is super friendly and one of receptions understand croatians/slovene 👍😍 Only "bad" thing was that the breakfast starts at 7.30, so if you want to go skiing somewhere else for example Kronplatz which is 45min away you ll be little late there 😕

The best people I have ever met, best place to snowboard and the best meals I have ever eaten in Hotels - good to see You soon :))

Perhaps the reception entrance doesn't have the compulsory wow factor but the rest of the place does. OK, it's near the ski lifts which is fab when you're kitted up with ski boots and carrying skis, it has a gym, an indoor swimming pool, two saunas, a steam room ,a decent bar with free nibbles and MTV and the restaurant food is £ for £, € for € about the best value for money I've ever had on a skiing holiday. It's our third stay here and we are already planning to return next year.

Family run, friendly staff and convenient for the slopes. The nearest lift is barely 100m away and actually on the main Sela Ronda route. Choice of bars between the relaxed lounge and the more lively Stube.

Great hotel. Staff were excellent. Food foreign. Amenities very good. Good value. Had a marvelous 7 day ski/snowboard holiday in Arabba with my friends. Will visit again for sure.

An elegant place with very warm welcoming employees, which are very professional. They can manage many customers with politeness. The restaurant team is very efficient and the food is very very good and reflects local or regional recipes.

Great food, friendly staff. Only problem I had was I wanted to use the treadmill before I went skiing but the wellness centre didn't open till the afternoon.

The price is reasonable, the room is not big, but well furnitured and acquipped. The managers are kind and can speak english.

Great view of town and the mountains. Best value. Above all, excellent excellent service.
