Fantastic area, loads to see and do. From the islands of Ischia and Prochida, down past Vesuvius to Sorrento and Capri. One of the most beautiful coastlines, and you can see many of the caldera, remnants of the volcanic activity that built and changed this area.

It is a wonderful viw particularly over night.

I was fortunate to live in Naples at an early age being 12 years old from 1960-1965. My Dad is a naval veteran & received orders & was stationed at the naval base capodichemo air base. He took our entire family with him. I have fond memories of Naples italy & got the chance to visit lots of museums & even tour of Mt. Vesuvius the volcano & the city's of Pompeii & Herculaneum cities that were destroyed by lava...

Great place to catch a ferry to the many destination Islands. Friendly and very helpful to get you where you need to go. Some charge a dollar a bag extra if you can luggage. Be mindful of what direction you are headed to make sure you sit on the correct side of the boat to get the best scenery on your trip.

Beautiful but the entry point of city near berth is very dirty and MOST important do not buy Mobile from any one walking by, they are all mafia. They will land you in trouble for sure. Refrain from talking to the.
