Very nice food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere

Great gluten free food with all the taste of piemonte. Perfect local wine pairing. This little off-menu beauty.

A very wonderful place,
The food was very good and the price reasonable, and they have almost everything GLUTEN FREE.
We were in 2 and we took the tasting menu, that came with a delicius plate of local products as appetizers, gnocchi with fondue, polenta with carbonada and dessert, we spent 74 euros total with water and coffee. everything gluten free.
Also the service was great and the waiters very nice.
Worth a stop, especially if you need a gluten free menu.

The staff is excellent and nice! The food amazing! I walked in after hiking 16kms and was not looking my best (or smelling good either!) And they were sooo nice. Loved my meal there!

We stopped there for lunch and visit the beautiful town of Aosta/ Aoste. Perfect outdoor seating just close to the porta praetoria. Good variety of local and italian food. Reasonable price and a good quality of the products. Very good choice of vines and also small bottles, better if you wanna have something to do the rest of the day. Friendly service. Go there when you visit this beautiful town ad the food of the alps.

More chefy than other Trattorias in Aosta- but absolutely beautiful food. The charcuterie board was to die for. Worth a visit for a more formal dinner in the old town!

We found the restaurant through tripadvisor so we came with a purpose, but the courtesy we found was well above expectations: although near the closing time, the staff welcomed us and served us quickly but perfectly. Do ask information on the food, they'll be happy to explain it to you and you'll make the right choices. I strongly suggest the Fonduta alla Valdostana, the Carbonada con Polenta and the Risotto al Bleu d'Aoste. The food is tasty, well presented and not overly abundant so you can enjoy an entrée and a first course. The experience is totally worth the price (surprisingly not very high!). Plus side: great camera spot, the restaurant is right in front of the old Roman archeological remains.

I did a search for Fonduta and this restaurant came up. It was phenomenal. The atmosphere, the service and food were all fantastic! I would highly recommend you check out this restaurant. My relatives, who are picky eaters, LOVED the food and said it was one of the best meals we had! Additionally, my Negroni was made just right too! Be sure to check this place out!

Absolutely delicious, even with a limited menu due to the festival of St Ours. Gorgeous chestnut and sausage pasta, venison with chocolate sauce, game stew, local wine and crema de cogne! Very friendly staff. A thoroughly satisfying meal.
