Tuscany by Bike

Wow! Just wow! We had such an amazing experience with Toscana by Bike! The entire team is so professional and very nice. We did the guided tour where we were taken to a family farm house to have an awesome lunch with local food. The bikes were great and having an e-bike through the countryside is needed for sure with the change in elevation. It made the trip easy and so much fun! We loved having Valentina as our guide and she was so positive and had a great sense of humor. Massimo, the owner, and his son Pietro were so nice and made sure that we had a wonderful experience and they brought extra supplies so that there were no issues. The countryside is so beautiful and we felt very taken care of during our trip. Everywhere you looked, looked like a postcard which was a pleasant surprise. It was an all day affair and one of our favorite things that we did on our month long trip in Italy. Our group had different fitness levels and ages and everyone was able to enjoy themselves. Don't get me wrong, you will be tired by the end of the day, but you won't care because you will have had an experience of a lifetime. We would do again and it is not to be missed during your trip to Tuscany.

Our bike tour of the Tuscan countryside was the perfect way to truly appreciate the beauty of Tuscany. Our guides Valentina, assisted by Paolo and George, were great. Friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable about the areas we visited. They knew the spots with great views for photo ops too! The bikes with assist were awesome and made the ride, even with the hills, pleasant and doable. Our group of 8 range 65-70 in age and we did it! I would recommend this tour to one and all.

Wonderful experience! Massimo was very flexible working with us to adjust times to match good weather. Valentina was a wonderful guide. They made us feel like family for the short few hours we spent with them. Definitely a highlight of our time in Italy.

The three hour ebike tour of the surrounding Tuscan countryside included stops at wineries and castles. Valentina was an excellent guide and Massimo a wonderful host that I now consider a friend. We had such a good time that we rented bikes at our next stop in Pienza. A highlight of our Italian vacation!

One of our greatest days ever! I can’t put into words the experience of seeing miles and miles of Tuscan grape and olive vineyards mixed with ancient ruins, medieval towns and villas. Love love loved this trip. Mossimo was excellent. Planned out perfect route, gave tips, patient with our questions, and provided excellent bikes. Country roads were a mix of gravel and pavement, but very little traffic on 95% of route (coming into or out of town only and we always felt safe). I highly recommend this trip!!!

We had an amazing day all thanks to the service of Tuscany By Bikes! The bikes were really good and we got the routes via an app that the shop provides. Water, a bag and a map were provided. The routes were beautiful. We ended up doing two of the longer routes, 80km total and loved every bit of it! Such a helpful team, sweet and patient. Definitely would recommend, such a special way to explore Tuscany this way! THANKS!

best what you can do in the area! Massimo, Valentina and the rest of the team are SO HELPFUL and knowledgeable! i was a bit hesitatnt if i am able to do the whole tour, because of up and down hills and because it was my first time on an ebike and I am not a pro, but they helped me with all the answers and I tried! and now I believe even the beginner can do this! so if you are hesitant - just try!
they are very well prepared from the moment you enter their place, they have all you need, really well thought through maps with routes, that are just spectacular! they are locals and they know best places to go with bikes, I was amazed! route was beautiful! it was truly a day that my dream came true and it is such a memorable experiance! you are such an honest, kind, warm-hearted team! thank you!

We completed a five-day bike tour through Tuscany organized by Massimo. It was simply magical. The itinerary was planned perfectly on quiet paths and roads through vineyards and olive orchards. We enjoyed breathtaking views from hilltops that we would have never seen any other way. We ended our rides in medieval towns and villages where we ate supper in wonderful restaurants suggested by Massimo. The hotels were all excellent and our luggage was always there on time. My wife and I created the memories of a lifetime. I can’t say enough good things about Massimo. He is a jewel of a man, a warm and endearing human being that we are very grateful to have met. His son, Iacopo, and staff were also excellent. Sept 2023

Jakob showed us around Tuscany on the bikes and wow, what an experience! The surroundings were breathtakingly beautiful, the bikes exceptionally good, the local food delicious, the chosen roads with magnificent views and Jakob very knowledgeable about the area... being a local! To top it all my son says that Georgio was THE MVP (Most valuable player😁) who was always there throughout the trip... following us around and making sure that everyone was ok and that the traffic would stop so that we could go our way on the bikes. Overall the best experience ever to enjoy and admire the Tuscany beautiful hills... can not recommend highly enough!

We were a group of 14 and booked the 72km ride through San Gimignano. The sun was shinning, the wine was flowing and the Gelato was outstanding! Thanks to Massimo and his team, it was the highlight of our 10 days in Italy.

Ciao, we rent two e-bikes for the whole day. The price is absolutely va bene. The very involved nice Massimo is helpfully and explained every route. They have a app guided Route System. So it possible to navigate with your Mobilephone. This was very easy for us. We come very late, but no problem: Massimo still waiting for us and rewarded us with some cold Water bottles. THX for frindlyness and for the nice experience to explorer Toscana by bike 👍🏼

Massimo (owner) was terrific. Friendly, knowledgeable and overall very helpful. He set up a last minute Tuscany sunset e bike tour for me and my family. The guides (Jacob and Iliza) were wonderful…..always answering questions during the 4 hour tour and allowing us to bike at our own pace. Just a terrific experience. Would highly recommend as a ‘must do’ experience in Tuscany

Absolutely incredible experience!!!! Massimo and his staff are the very best and I’m soooo thankful that I found this from my Google search. His team makes sure we are safe the entire time by having a driver follow so that he can alert us of cars approaching. Most driving is done on low traffic roads and some dirt roads. The views were stunning around every single turn. The bikes were very easy to learn to drive. This trip was a way for us to learn about the chianti region like we never would have learned. Recommend 1,000 times!!!!!! Arrivederci, my friends!!!!!!! Piacere mille!!!

Best way to see Tuscany! Great bikes, charming owner, Massimo, and an absolutely gorgeous experience. We found a Fattoria (La Ginestra) to have lunch, which gave us a welcome break in our 60k tour. You can chose different routes with shorter/longer distances. The bikes are amazing, I am now addicted to e-biking!

Hard to add to all the great reviews, but this may have been the highlight of our five days in Tuscany. Massimo agreed to do a last minute tour for us and it was incredible and personal. A must do for a Tuscan visit

Loved the e-bike trip to San Gimginiano! Definitely the best way to appreciate the awesome views of Tuscany and escape from tourists. Massimo was very kind and provided all the necessary information and equipment (maps, water, etc). And the bikes are great, we didn't have any problem. Will definitely consider other trips!

We had a wonderful experience with Tuscany by bikes. We made a reservation in the evening and we did not expect the bikes to be ready for the trip the next day in the morning. But they were and the staff was very welcoming and provided us with all the necessary equipment and information about the route and stops. The route was very well planned and passed through beautiful places. Prices are very reasonable for this level of service, so I definitely recommend them. Thanks for the water and small present!
