Caves Caglieron

Our visit to the Caglieron Caves in Italy was a magical experience. These caves, with their underground streams and limestone formations, created a captivating and serene environment. It's a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts and not an obvious stop on a Dolomiti trip, but it's well worth the visit to explore Italy's natural beauty.

I recommend visiting this area, especially on a hot day.
It is unique and spectacular, a relaxing landscape, a walk through the cave-canyon-waterfalls-stairs-wooden walkways, it is magnificent.
An easy route can be practiced by anyone - a relaxing and special walk if you like nature.
You can also find a restaurant in the area where you can stop for a refresh and enjoy the peace and beauty of the surrounding nature

What a secret gem this place is!
Absolutely stunning, it puzzles me it's not more famous and popular among travellers!
Easily accessible (if driving up a hill on a narrow street doesn't scare you), it's an easy and well maintained track that takes you to some breathtaking caves with a creek and waterfalls that seem to come straight out of fairy land, and ends with a still functioning wooden water mill!

Easy hike on a path through the caves. Several waterfalls and some tight spots make it very memorable. Caves keep cool during the summer heat. There’s also a bistrot next to the path, although we didn’t try it. The entrance fee is €3.5, and parking is €2/h. Depending on your speed, going through the whole path takes about 1-2h.

I'm absolutely a beautiful location! The caves and the bridges to get around are awesome. Take a good pair of shoes, water, and sunblock (it's july) the stuff was very nice. It was a great few hours to spend time.

This is a nice short hike. The place and the trails are well maintained. The caves and the dripping water gives this hike a different feel. Short and sweet!

The track is circular, begins and ends in the parking space, (have wc there too) and basicly you need to pay 1€ per hour to park the car (though i didnt ;)
Parts of the track are through caves filled with cooled underground air but there are many well shaded and cool resting spots in the caves and out of them to avoid the sun along the way, even a resturant.
The caves are beautiful and the sound of the water is like a magic.
Easy enough for kids and families and pleasent enough for couples.

The caves Caglieron are a complex with 7 caves you can visit for $3,50 per person. The complete circuit takes around one hour. The temperature inside the caves can be perfect for a hot summer day! There’s also a restaurant and a water mill during the route.

Wow absolutely beautiful and worth the visit! You get to breathe some fresh humid air, walk in and out the caves and stare at the beautiful waterfalls. A lot of explanations on the stands as well. Make sure to check the opening hours before coming there. The entrance is 3.5€. If staying in Vittorio Veneto a hike back down the mountains from the caves is highly recommended!

Beautiful caves in the Treviso province. There's (paid) parking and it only takes 30 minutes to do the full (free) tour. Much recommended to go there on a sunny day. Don't be fooled by the map: there is no trail to the "Antico mulino"!

Definitely worth it ! Had good time in nature

The Caglieron Caves - Grotte del Caglieron are fantastic. This place is a beautiful testimony of the work of man and the power of nature.
The caves offer an irresistible, fairytale and breathtaking path. Totally free.
Before entering you can visit the cave of San Lucio for free. In this cave the cheese is preserved. Outside you can taste and buy cheese.
Tip: for foreign tourists. Bring a guide in your language. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no translations in English or in the main languages.

Don't forget to visit the Grotte del Caglieron. You will be enthusiastic about the experience!

Stunning scenery, well worth visiting if you're in the area. Also free, you only have to pay for the parking.

Definitely worth a visit. Nice walk, very beautiful sights. The ticket for 1 person is 3.5€. Parking ticket is 2€/h.

Hidden gems, amazing place to chill out in the summer. Going all the way downstairs you can find a place where to sit down in the fresh water, under the shadow and relax.
Suggested to go back the same way you came there, the other road is quite hard and don't take direction "castle" , 40 minutes walking to see absolutely nothing.

A breath of fresh air in the Hills around Treviso. An hours walk on the cave trail. Well worth a visit.
