Ristorante La Locanda Del Conte Nitto

We found this place by chance, and literally because we had been turned down by another restaurant which was already full. We were very lucky to have been turned down.

This restaurant is in the cutest little street, with a living room as an entrance.
Everything is tastefully arranged, decor-wise, in the style of old Umbrian and Tuscan country houses.

The service is excellent, Maurizio is the most gracious host, being present but not invasive.

The food is spectacular: the quality of the produce is really high (you can taste it in the raw produce of one of the appetizers, where there is no place to hide). Portions are really generous, you'll walk out very well fed.
And the price is surprisingly low when compared to the decor of the place, and the service, both very classy, and, of course, the quality of the food.

Highly recommended!

Since we were so happy the first time, we went back for more and tried different dishes from the menu.
We were not disappointed: the tortino the ricotta and pecorino was delicious as well as the Greek salad. But the costata di scottona was so satisfying: a great produce perfectly cooked, it was like butter in my mouth.

Once again, highly recommended!

Rarely give full 5 stars...but this time: deserved! La Minestra di Verdure: amazing; the Pinza: great; the Tagliata: Jimmy. The service was really nice and the team made my kids feel at home.

Gluten free gnocci on offer! Lovely atmosphere, warm lighting, would recommend the piccolo sformato (salty cheesy pudding) starter. Allergens in the menu made ordering stress free. And really great service, the staff seem lovely

Found through Google we arrived at this restaurant yesterday. We unexpectedly had a very nice experience there. The real Italian food is excellent and the ambiance of the restaurant is taken care of down to the last detail. It what a sensation in taste and atmosphere. The service spoiled us with an extra sip of wine or a Limochello after the meal. Definitely recommended to experience this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant which is a little bit hidden in the centre of the ancient city Amelia. The food and wine experience was excellent. Staff is extremely nice. At the end of the dinner there's a Fotoshooting and you get a memory card with some nice words.

This evening we visited La Locanda in Amelia.
The dinner was really bellisimo!! And the owners of the restaurant were very friendly and kind to us. We had a wonderful time!

Locale molto bello, arredato con gusto e cura sin nei più piccoli particolari. Personale di sala preparato, gentile e ben organizzato. I cibi tutti ben preparati e gustosi; migliorerei solo l'antipasto servito "di tutto un po'...." rendendolo ancora più caratteristico della zona ma comunque buono e abbondante.
I Primi piatti molto ben preparati e serviti con gusto. I dolci molto ben fatti anche se molto nella norma ma non scontati nei sapori.

Prezzo pagato decisamente abbordabile. Visto che abbiamo assistito ad un comportamento veramente brutto da parte di altri clienti, i proprietari hanno pensato doveroso scusarsi (non certo per loro colpe) facendoci un notevole sconto sul conto da pagare; questo denota serietà e sensibilità da parte di questi ristoratori. Sono persone speciali e meritevoli di esser conosciute e apprezzate. Sicuramente, quando torneremo ad Amelia, ripasseremo a trovarli.

Ottima esperienza. Piatti molto buoni e il tocco sardo è stato molto apprezzato. Personale gentile e luogo davvero caratteristico.

Questa location ristorativa merita assolutamente una puntata, il locale è arredato in stile favoloso (al centro della sala un vero tratto di strada dell'antica Roma, illuminato dal basso e con vetro protettivo calpestabile) e si mangia benissimo, dagli antipasti al dolce...quello che pochi hanno menzionato è l'accesso al locale, si entra in un camminamento in stile medioevale con dei vasi pensili ricolmi di rampicanti che penzolano dall'alto e creano un'atmosfera suggestiva, un vero e proprio set cinematografico che termina con un salottino open per i clienti e l'accesso al locale, qualcosa di unico e sorprendente.

Ein Wunderschönes ambiente richtig einladend. Das Esser ist sehr lecker wir waren in 2 Wochen Urlaub 2 mal Essen absolut zu empfelen. Einziger negativer punkt ist die geschwindigkeit vom servieren. Warteten ziemlich lange zum bestellen bis das Essen kahm um abzuräumen un das Restaurant war nicht voll aber das Essen hat es wieder gutgemacht.

Scoperto per caso nel mese di giugno scorso, è davvero un posto incantevole, molto ricercato e al tempo stesso familiare. Da non perdere la seadas.
