Terme San Giovanni

If you plan to die then only in this place with such views :D.
Room:
- The deluxe room is large and renovated. The bathroom is clean with no stone in the shower.
- In the room, of course, there is a TV, kettle, flip-flops, bathrobes, shampoo, shower gel.
- Overall the room is clean, soundproofed.
Service:
- Very nice until we were shocked very positive.
- We reported a problem because the TV did not work but it was replaced with a new one very quickly and for that a big plus :).
- Overall reception, restaurant smug and we will definitely return there.
Breakfast/Dinner:
- Breakfasts very good, a large selection of virtually everything you need. From fruits, to dairy, sweets, coffee/tea, maybe I would add a little bit of vegetables :)
- Dinners I highly recommend the half board option, as for a good price you get: starter, main course and dessert.
Hotel amenities:
- Thermal pools sensational and there are several of them.
- Tennis court available, bicycles for rent.
- There is also a sauna and a gym, as well as a spa.
HOWEVER, NOTHING BEATS THE VIEWS WE GET WHILE BEING ON THE HOTEL GROUNDS. THE OUTDOOR BEDS OVERLOOKING THE SKYLINE ARE SIMPLY SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL !

One of the best Thermal spa that you can visit in Tuscany! They got one inside pool and three outdoors in which you can rest also in winter! Big thumb up to the restaurant, you can have there great pasta and natural wine!

It’s an amazing place to spend time with your partner or family and just relax. It’s in a great location with amazing view, nice restaurant and bar and great breakfast. You will enjoy a clean terme plus there are treatment options like various massages.

There are multiple terme in this facility. The best one is private to only hotel guests. I also tried the public ones, the public indoor terme was okay but the public outdoor was not warm enough.
Overall my only complaint was that even the private terme was not hot enough, I prefer terme to at least have one section with hot water.
We also tried two treatments. The service quality was pretty good.

If you need to relax, this is the place. Very clean, service is fantastic, food is amazing. You will feel very comfortable and welcome in this place.

It was such a pleasant experience!! Everything was deep cleaned and well taken care off. The staff was excellent, always extremely helpful and accommodating. Even though there were many people at the pools everything was well organized and the staff made sure we had everything we needed.

Terme San Giovanni is all beautiful and perfect. The therapists are very professional.

Spent a lovely few hours here - did the day pass and lunch. Loved the pools and the shallow beds where you could stretch out and still be submerged. Beautiful colored pools, and loved the chairs with the face shade! Seemed to be a very local spot - not much English spoken (which was wonderful). Note that the locker rooms didn't have shampoo or conditioner, so bring your own!

I can't say enough, what a delightful place to relax and enjoy the healing waters, take a walk and receive some much needed spa treatments! The food served for dinner is superb! Get a package and it is included, well worth it. Mr. Garcia, the Director is fantastic, personable and very knowledgeable! The entire staff was very pleasant, charming and helpful! The view from the back of the hotel looking across the Tuscan hillside is a like a painting! Enjoy this gem!

The building is commodious, with 3 large swimming pools, spacious relaxing area, and stunning view. The price is reasonable, 19€ per each person for an unlimited time (Saturdays after 7 pm the price is lower). It is clean and semi-luxury.

This place is amazing. You have two big water piscinas: one inside and one outside with an amazing views. The ticket is around 15 euro and you pay for rental of towel and for the locker you only require to give them 5 euro as caution. Is the right place for a relax time and restoration. The bar and restaurant is also good.

Great place to relax and forget the stresses of life

Really excellent - beautiful surroundings everything very clean and well maintained and very relaxing to be in real volcanic hot springs with beautiful views over the valley. Stay at the hotel if you can and have access to the quieter pool area for guests only. The only thing I’d like is a more natural outdoor pool in the woods for a more “outdoor swimming” experience in nature. Also great they have small more affordable single rooms if you are there relaxing alone. And accessible from Florence by train - just one easy change at Siena and the hotel will pick you up from the train station. Hotel staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful and even fixed my suitcase when the zip broke! Thank you for a lovely stay.

This place is simply fantastic. For 15€ you get access to 3 different hot springs converted into pools to relax in. Each pool has a different temperature and they're well maintained​. In addition, the entire area is full of lounge chairs with umbrellas. This beats going to the public hot springs by a mile. Nothing beats sitting in a relaxing chair and watching the magnificent views as you dry off after having spent 30 minutes soaking in hot springs.

I came here after a few stressful days of driving non stop. Arrived to an amazing farm house near this place, and going to San Giovanni was the first thing I did after unpacking my suitcase. Best decision ever! Super relaxing and nice/

We went for the spa which was delightful and relatively uncrowded on a Monday. Got great, well price sandwiches for lunch. Go to enjoy the healing water and the view of Tuscany at the same time! Definitely recommend it.

Great place after dark really comes alive. It's a little expensive but worth it if you stay for 2 hours or more. If you don't want to be around young lovers or a crowd go during the daylight. Food is plentiful even though the restaurant looks small. Bring a very big thick robe not something thin. You will be wearing a robe always outside the pools. DO NOT wear any jewelry, watches, or anything but swimming gear in the pools. Sulfur is hard to get off rubber watch bands. Other than that enjoy a relaxing 1 hour or more soak and make sure to shower with soap afterward sulfur really sticks to you.

It was simply to find it, and the place was well organized and you can find all you need there in base of the service needed in thermal water bath...

An amazing spa experience and a must visit if you are in the area. We always stop enroute through Tuscany.

Prices for admission is €19 and includes a locker. Towels are available for hire unless you bring your own.

Even during busy periods there is space in the pools however you may need to fight for a sunbed.
