A very fine restaurant in the heart of Padova. We had dinner here on a Sunday evening in February 2024. The food was delicious, the wine excellent, the staff warm-hearted and very obliging. Main courses were served by the chef in person.
Breathtaking and heart-stopping the ambiance. A mixture of a stylish Italian restaurant and a cozy Viennese coffee house. Probably the best place to eat all over Padova.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Padua. Walked in by chance and managed to get a table. There were 2 other functions on at the same time and a great atmosphere. Food was amazing and fairly priced. English was a bit of an issue but managed to Google and use some sign language to get the message accross. The lady even helped me with recommendations for dinner the rest of the nights in Padua.
Definitely my favorite restaurant.

Beautiful atmosphere in a picturesque place. You must taste their special espresso with minty cream and cocoa powder, it's so delicious I'm sure you'll love it no matter how you enjoy your coffee. The service was excellent. I wish I knew the name of the waiter to mention them, they were very professional and friendly.

Wow, I would make a trip just to Padova for their Pedrocchi cake. One of the best desserts I had on my entire trip to Italy. We will be talking about this cake for a long time! Also had their ham&cheese toast and that was also very tasty. Service, location and atmosphere were fantastic.

The cakes and drinks are delicious. The service is fast, but a bit cold. It doesn't have unfortunatly the club atmosphere like the famous caffès of Rome and Venice. But it is well compensated by the delicious taste and right prices

It was launched since 1772 and in 1831 the owner(maybe) changed the shop address from the original place to here near the university of Padova. The coffee is excellent. And it worth to there twice. First for the afternoon tea and another for the dinner.
Strongly recommended

Legendary place in Padova, coffee is great, definitely try their speciality: pedrocchi. Place is quite big but everything is going really smooth so it’s absolutely cool to drink a quick coffee :)

Great tiramisu and pistachio cheesecake, the inside was full so we had to sit outside but it was ok, really nice coffee and deserts.

Coffee with mint and chocolate….Amazing! Proportions are so right !(do Not add sugar and o not stir!)
Would not recommend zabaglione- too sweet with strong taste of eggs

Evocative setting, friendly service. At noon on a weekday it wasn't crowded. One room is self-service and the rest have table service. I had the mint coffee and the Torta Pedrocchi, and they were both delicious. The coffee even came with a side of cookies, which was a bit much even for someone with a sweet tooth like me. The torte is incredibly rich, so I recommend sharing it or not having it on an empty stomach.

The best specialty coffee I had in Italy! You have to be a fan of mint coffee to enjoy this. I would drink 10 cups of these if I could! It's so rich and sweet. You don't add sugar or mix it as the cafe staff mentioned. The pastries were average...the Pedrocchi coffee is the star!

As for the cafe environment, to get the best service, you'd have to speak Italian or know what to order right away. They weren't very friendly with explaining and English is limited.

It’s a unique and amazing experience to have breakfast in such an elegant and historic building. The mint coffee is so special and absolutely worthy tasting.

I loved this place. Mint coffee was so unique and nice! (never seen anything like this before) I was a bit hungry but not ready for a full dinner so ordered a tuna sandwich. It was simple but good! (It was just a couple euros I remember). Staffs were friendly and very well dressed (ha ha) feel like I was well served. Would love to go back to this historic cafe!

We only tried their signature coffee and it was good. It was not expensive at all. They are in the centre of the city with stunning interiors.

We came here at the start of August. I’m still talking about the Pedrocchi coffee. It’s coffee with mint. Not your thing right?
I thought that too but thought “when in Rome” so I ordered it. It. Was. Delicious.

Good service. Beautiful venue. Great people watching spot. Lovely to immerse yourself in history. Gorgeous coffee.

I want to go back?

If you visit Padova, you must visit this place. It is the oldest caffe (since 1831) and they have a few Signature drinks and dishes, mint based. It is a whole experience that must be tried.

Most famous Cafe in Padua, different rooms with different styles. Famous for its special Cafe with mince.
Nice but not extraordinary.

The must see and taste location in Padova, don’t look further. Bonus point: it’s the perfect place to bring and read your favorite book.
