Osteria La Porta del Chianti

We stopped here for lunch on the way to San giaminione. The food was amazing, really great pasta with delicious sauces.

This restaurant came as a really nice surprise during a recent trip to Italy. We stopped by chance on the first day and then rearranged our plans and took a detour on our last day to fit in another lunch there. The food was outstanding and the setting and service was friendly and genuine.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to our Airbnb…. And it was meant to be. This place was the best restaurant we ate at during our entire stay in Italy. The food was amazing! The host and service, simply the best. We desperately tried to come back for a second time, but our excursions keep us out late and we missed our chance. Hopefully, we’ll return one day. Highly recommend!

We had a great evening at this place! The owners are super friendly and the taste of the food is also great. Authentic regional dishes from Tuscany!
We especially loved the Tiramisu and the Tarta della Nonna!

Update: We have been here two more times and it's absolutely adorable! The Bistecca Fiorentina was grilled to perfection! Pasta ist fresh and delicious too.

Che piacevole scoperta!
Ci passo davanti spesso per lavoro e finalmente ho deciso di andarci a pranzo. Dovevo farlo molto tempo prima. Osteria tipica Toscana con pasta fatta in casa e piatti tipici della tradizione, locale intimo con pochi tavoli che ti fanno sentire a casa. Molto apprezzati i crostini misti con condimenti particolari, tagliolini al tartufo fresco, pici al ragù di coniglio e tagliatelle al cinghiale. Anche i dolci erano molto squisiti. Da tornarci assolutamente per provare altri piatti e anche per partecipare alla serata del bollito. Personale di una gentilezza unica, e conto nella norma per la zona. Se passate di qui fermatevi.

Cibo cucinato divinamente, sughi particolari che non ho trovato altrove e di posti ne ho girati, ottimo quello all anatra nana e alla faraona con arancia, ambiente gradevole e cordiale. Servizio veloce.

Tutto quello che puoi desiderare da un tipico ristorante toscano! Ben curato, pulito ordinato, non manca nulla, il pavimento in cotto, l’arredo rustico ed il Chianti sugli scaffali. Cucina tipica impeccabile con pasta e condimenti fatti in casa. Personale accogliente e professionale. Molto accogliente l’ingresso con il bancone vetrina ed i prodotti tipici. Tornerò sicuramente

Se cercate un osteria dove riscoprire sapori genuini senza tanti fronzoli,siete arrivati.
Atmosfera casalinga,servizio cordiale,e cibo semplice cucinato bene,pici o tortelli,fritto dell’aia o tagliata,si casca sempre in piedi.
E non rompete se non hanno vini o etichette ‘importanti’ ,rilassatevi e godetevi il pranzo!
