One of our favorite hotel/resorts of our trip to northern Italy. From the lighting inside the main floor and outside, to the spas & pool atop the roof- it’s wonderful! Great location to all sorts of shops, restaurants, park areas. A great stay !

We're currently into our third stay at HTM, having been here before in 2016 and 17. The location is unbeatable, rooms are spacious and clean, and all works as it should. Super friendly crew in the restaurant, and food is delicious, varied, and plenty. We look forward to a great rest of the stay, and to return in the near future!

Hotel Therme is a total luxury experience. The hotel's two spas are incredible. The public terme is a must visit. The staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are impeccable. Breakfast should not be missed. The hotel lunch and dinner options are OK. There are better alternatives in town, but reservations are a necessity. We will bebback in the fall.

The location is absolutely top. A dedicated roof top spa just for hotel guests with mesmerizing views onto the mountains is 1st class relaxation! The staff is very friendly and forthcoming adding to the great atmosphere. Enjoy!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and couldn’t have been more delighted with our decision.

A family travel agent talked us out of staying at a 5 star hotel that was further away, and what a difference it made!

Hotel Therme is right in the heart of town, with views of the river and town center (and stunning mountains) from many rooms (+ the Gym, breakfast dining area, sky bar and many other locations through the hotel)!

We loved that staying at the hotel felt like an all inclusive resort. The breakfast was expansive, with fresh cappuccinos and lattes made on demand, a extensive selection of fresh loose leaf teas, fresh squeezed orange juice, elderberry juice and many more beverages to choose from. One could order a fresh egg made any way you like it by pressing a bell at the kitchen. The other hot and cold breakfast items ranging from smoked salmon, to museili, fresh fruit, breads and sweets galore were enough to get us through to dinner.

We also did half board and were totally stunned by the amazing quality and value of the food! Each night we had three separate menus to choose from (South Tyrolean, A theme menu which changed each night, and a spa menu with lighter options). I was impressed with the level of creativity, no two days were the same, and with the ability to mix and match between selections on the menus we really had the ability to customise our dining experience to a T! The starters were served at the buffet + many fresh FRESH vegetable and micro greens for salads. We felt like royalty with our 5 course meals each night. Did I mention it was an amazing deal?

We also took advantage of the fitness classes offered at the sky lounge. Wow! Every day something different and some days we even did two! It was majestic to do a Pilates class (which my husband had never done before), with a panoramic view of the Alps.

We also loved that there were two hiking excursions from the hotel itself that were complimentary! The staff brought us hiking poles if we chose to use them and water in case we didn’t bring water for ourselves on the day of the longer hike. It was nice to not have to worry about driving to a site to hike ourselves, with the headache of finding parking and identifying the proper paths with little cell service (we are hiking novices). We met the loveliest people on our hikes and were fast friends with the guides as well.

The number of spa spaces with indoor/outdoor pools to enjoy was tremendous. We would usually go to the sky spas after doing some gym or classes in the morning, then go out for the day. Before dinner, we would enjoy a drink or snack at the sky bar, then go to the big thermal spa (using the underground passage), and relax for two hours before changing and enjoying our extravagant dinner back at the hotel. It was amazing to have robes and fresh towels directly from the hotel + a carrying bag to use at the spa (this costs extra at Terme Merano but both the entrance fee and the towels + robes + slippers are all included for hotel guests!)

Our room was basic, but very clean, very comfortable, and peaceful. We loved the scent of the room every time we entered. On arrival, champagne, fruit, chocolates were awaiting us as a welcome!

We also got a massage at the spa. There was a miscommunication as the front desk said that we were not in the system for a massage appointment. We thought we would just go to the spa and book with them directly the next day in person, but got a flustered call because we had missed our reservation our first morning. The spa had sent the confirmation to my husbands email instead of mine (which he didn’t see nor did I), and the front desk seemed to have a separate booking window which did not have us as booked. Luckily the spa and front desk communicated and we were able to reschedule without penalty. We did the couples candle massage, and it was special but if you like firm massages I would do a different option.

We look forward to returning on our next family vacation as Merano is our new favorite destination.

This is a fantastic place to relax. The staff was there to help with every request and wish that we may had to make our stay more relaxing. A special thanks to Imma at reception who made us feel like visiting an old friend. ❤
The sky spa is the most beautiful, well-equipped relaxing wellness facility I have ever seen. The staff there made us feel completely at home, even when we wanted a drink 15min before closing time! Thank you everyone at HTM!!!

We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights for our family trip (total 5 people) at this hotel. We highly recommend half board option! The reasons are as below:
1. Great breakfast - lots of varieties and great quality of fruit; plus great service. If you go to a nice hotel for brunch at this level, usually it would cost you at least $30 per person
2. Awesome dinner & great service - a wide range selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Chefs prepared the food with delicacy and the quality is really great; just like a fine dining restaurant where you usually would spend over $50 per person
3. Unlimited access to the spa in the hotel "and" at the huge public thermal spa place next door (thru the tunnel). I tried the spa 3 times and every time there was only me enjoying the whole place
4. Nice decorated and well equipped gym - it's not the best I've ever seen in a hotel, but it's definitely one of top 3 with the best view and decor
5. Free parking and very friendly hotel staff to take care of you

Before we went there, I was complaining about the price we paid because honestly it was pricey. But after we got there and spent the first night, I immediately changed my opinion and believed it was a great deal because you get to enjoy everything mentioned above, and the city of Merano has lots of to see, to do, and shop. You won't get bored at all and will enjoy the nice weather and great view there!

Great Hotel. THe staff were very friendly, all of them! Front desk helped with booking golf and dinner. The breakfast was a buffet style, which normally does not appeal to me, but was fantastic.

Parking was included, breakfast was inclined, access to the Terme Merano was included, wi-if was strong and fast everywhere in the hotel.

I highly recommend a visit.

As returning guests of HTM we appreciate the unique experience in this awesome hotel. The sky spa is a stunning piece of architecture while offering great privacy. Both bar and restaurant are outstanding as well, both in food quality and service. We love the drinks mixed by Elidor and Aaron and the attention to detail given by the bar crew. In the hotel restaurant Olivi a unique fusion of the Austrian, South Tyrolean and Italien kitchen is served in a beautiful almost festive atmosphere. The sauce of the dishes has to be pointed out: 100* out of a 100*! Same goes for the Schlutzkrapfen - so tasty!
The only drawback: The rooms would profit of a general do over, as they are well used and signs of wear and tear begin to show. Still no reason not to come here...

Highly reccomend best hotel in Merano. Pool and Sauna / Steem Room cannot be beat. Great views from the rooftop pool and lounge area. Wish I could have stayed longer. Staff was outstanding and one of the best hotels I have stayed at.

I have been only in the bar to meet my boss that was there on holyday, I think that the atmosphere is nice, there was a piano playing in the background and the waiter was polite, the cocktail he prepared was really tasty.

Absolutely stunning views, top class service and rooms, couldn't fault one thing! Plenty of things to do both in the hotel and in Merano centre, which is literally a step away!
