Cantina Del Vesuvio Winery Russo Family since 1930

This trip to the winery was not on our original agenda but recommended by our driver who took us to Pompeii. Turned out to be another unforgettable experience! We were warmly greeted upon arrival with a glass of wine. The tour to the vineyard and brewery was fun, educational and informative, and the beautiful view of the volcano was just phenomenal! I even got to keep a small piece of volcanic rock. Less to mention the six courses of generous wine tasting and delicious pasta served. An amazing place to visit for sure!!!

Spectacular views of Mt. Vesuvius and even got a rainbow too!! Location location location!! You cannot get any better than this! Views of the spectacular volcano, amazing family vineyards/winery, the Gulf of Naples and much more! I am beyond words! I love this winery’s story and unique location and approach to the finer things in life! Enjoyed every moment here from the superb demonstration about the organic family wine making process to the perfect pairing of lunch, then the tasting of delicious wine, olive oil and the most delicious wine vinegar ever! Thank you for the warm hospitality and unique experience! I am forever hooked!

Wonderful! This was my second time I’ve visited this vineyard, and absolutely HAD to revisit.. Absolutely amazing experience! Carmen was such a great guide, and Giovanni was spectacular with letting me taste my favorite wine that wasn’t in the tasting. You’re vineyard has sealed a place in my heart forever!! Thank you!

Top notch views, wine, food and service. This was definitely one of the main highlights of my Italy trip. Wines, olive oil and vinegar were all delicious. They have gluten fre food! Their vinegar is unique, you can order all of their products online which is a huge bonus.

Felt like home!! We did the private tour with homemade food at the beautiful home of the owners. The food was stunning and the owners know what they’re talking about. The wine is outstanding and suits the food we were served. We definitely will be back to stay at the airbnb! Thank you so much for such a special experience

Paola and Carmen were an absolute delight. This was one of the highlights of our ten day trip to Italy, I am so glad we made it. The wines were delicious but the lunch was one day forge best we had and the price was unbeatable. So peaceful and beautiful. Don’t miss it. Beautiful vineyard within view of Mount Vesuvius. Our host, Carmine was so welcoming, he was funny and entertained us throughout our tour. The lunch was the best food I have had in Italy during my whole trip, and the wine pairing were superb 👌

We had an amazing cooking class and tour. Ester did an amazing job teaching us how to make an authentic meal. She also made it so fun. Then we got to enjoy our hard work with the most amazing view and wine. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

Paula, our tour guide, was fantastic! We learned just enough about the region while sipping constantly-full glasses of wine. Excellent multi-course meal paired with various local, organic wines from this stunning 100 year old winery. This is our favorite place to take on the scenery and take a break from our vacation.

Definitely the best wine experience I have had and I am from Cape Town. The wine was also exquisite. The tasting was great except the tasting different wines in different glasses might be appreciated. Maybe arranging the glasses prior might be helpful, but I understand during the day, it was a bit windy. Other than the glass issue, everything was great. The shuttle from the pompeii station was a great touch

Amazing place! They make you feel like royalty, Wine is delicious and after the tour they give you a starter, a main course, and finally dessert! I enjoyed my time here!

We had amazing pasta with tomatoe sauce, we love the appertizer, bread, olives, dessert.

My wife and I did a private tour with private lunch. Esther, The owners wife/chef/author is absolutely delightful. The minute you arrive you feel welcome like it’s your own home. After the tour, you’re taken to her private home for the lunch and after the tour, you’re taken to her private home for lunch in a beautiful quaint setting. Every member of the staff is attentive and engaging. The food was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with their wines. Would highly recommend this winery.

Immediately treated like family. Such a wonderful place. Upscale wine tasting and phenomenal wine. The gate was closed when we arrived but our taxi driver buzzed up and they opened the gates. The property is spectacular. Sitting right below Vesuvius active volcano. I can taste the proof of the rich soil at the foot of the volcano.

We were very pleased with the service, the wine and the food was amazing!!! Everything was 10/10 and the host ❤Carmine❤ was so charming, funny yet educational. We all wantet to bring him home with us. We will 100% come back to Cantina Del Vesuvio. You’re missing out if you’re not coming here. Thank me later.❤🇮🇹🍷

Wonderful time, wonderful staff, wonderful wine, wonderful food. Free shuttle service to/from train station. Relaxing atmosphere with the best wines around. Carminè gave a great tour during the wine tasting, followed by a 5star meal masterfully paired with specific wines for each dish. A must do!

Wonderful view of Vesuvius mountain and the gulf, superb wine, excellent food and extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff!
We arrived at the cantina and already the English speaking staff was waiting for us with a glass of their amazing sparking wine, followed by the tour in the vineyard and the winery!
The wine tasting was wonderfully executed by staff who knew what they were talking about and the food was perfectly matched with the wine! I even got a last minute vegetarian option which shows how much the people there want to keep their clients happy!
On my way out, I passed out from the heat and the staff immediately brought me ice and led me to a dark and cool area until my body could recover completely and I could drive again. They even moved my car to a shady place with my permission of course!
To add on they have an online shop which makes traveling easier because there is no need to carry the wine in suitcases! Simply place your order and receive it at home after you arrive!

Definitely one of our best experiences when visiting Italy! The food was paired perfectly with the wine, the views were incredible and we enjoyed chatting with the staff - they were very extremely friendly and informative! We chose the superior wine tasting lunch and glad we did as the superior white was definitely one of our favourites. We will be making an order soon! :)

Wow! Great views, great food, great staff. We had an adventurous cab ride from Naples and boy was it worth it. The tasting was wonderful, with a wine for every taste. The food was home made and paired well with the drinks. Upon ordering wine to send home we were offered complementary glasses to wait for the taxi that they called for us. Super hospitable and wonder service.

The experience was amazing. I would 100% recommend this to everybody. A very cute tour, service was great, food was amazing and the wines were to die for. The view of mount Vesuvio was spectacular. Exceeded all of our expectations and definitely bang for your buck. 10/10
