Hotel Ateshooni

Ateshooni is a special place.
Not very clean, with shared bathrooms where you shower over the toilets... not much of an exciting prospect at a rather expensive rate of $35 per person full board (although the meals are varied and delicious), but none of this matters as conviviality is the highlight of the place.
The intimate common room with a palm garden view, gathers all travelers and is the heart & soul of the house, with the perfect configuration for exchanging experiences and chatting about... travels !!!
We came for 1 night, stayed 3 and we are not the only ones who couldn't leave the place... Isn't the feeling all that remains in the end ?
We liked our little room with its 2 small windows and after piling up blankets and soft mattresses, we slept like babies.
Maziyar is a character and his great music is an added asset to the atmosphere. We had a great evening in the dunes of Farahzad with bonfire, tea, snacks and music under the stars, we could have done it all night !
We would definitely recommend Ateshooni to travelers who like to meet others...

Just a couple of friendly advices for the people there, change the bright compact fluorescent bulbs of the common room for a more warm and intimate option (colored LED for example) and get rid of the ugly big blue AC device (nobody wanted it during our stay and it was august !), quite useless in this open air area anyway.

We traveled here in April 2019.A great place to stay. It's cozy , comfortable, the staff kind and helpful. The view of our room was superb. The kitchen with a variety of tasty meals. And the price was absolutely reasonable. The owner "Maziar" was one of a kind. We had a night camping in the desert, and it was amazing. I do recommend this place. A true five-star Eco lodge.

Maziyar, the owner, has created a myth around himself and his guesthouse.
In fact, the atmosphere is great and cozy and it’s easy to get to know the other guests. Good dinner and breakfast (fixed menu) included in the price. The coffee shop of Maziyar’s brother is a nice place for a drink after dinner.
Don’t miss the trip/night in the desert!

A great hospitality with cozy and clean rooms. Very polite staff and professional arrangement. A totally real life at a real village with the right person : Maziar Al-e-Davoud who is a very thoughtful one.

When it turns to talk about Garmeh, or actually the word of 'Kavir' in Iran, it’s all just not started or never ended without the name of 'Maziar'.
A man who doesn't talk much, but when you leave there, you'll have a lot to say about why there was no need to talk!
A must see place plus the mentioned person.

It was awesome,people were kind and the owner of hotel played music for our team with some thing named di ji ri do.he had 2 amaizing camels and they loved him so much.

Amazing place with a great and kind manager; Mr Maziar. It is memorable trip, to visit this historical place during a day and gathering together around fire, listening to live music and singing a song...

Ein magischer Ort voller Musik und netter Menschen (und Tiere!) wer viel Komfort erwartet ist hier falsch, das saubere Bad mit mehreren Duschen und Kabinen wird geteilt, geschlafen wird auf Matratzen auf dem Boden. Dafür findet man noch leicht ein Abenteuer, egal ob man die verfallene Burg hinterm Haus erkundet, einen der Berge erklettert oder einfach durch den Palmengarten streift. Alles ist so idyllisch und gemütlich. Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit, auch ohne große Ausflüge. Dazu kommt, dass das Essen fantastisch und die Crew unglaublich nett ist. Alle scheinen hier einfach mit vollem Elan dabei zu sein.

Un lieu hors du temps dans une jolie oasis, les repas sont compris et excellent. L'atmosphère assez unique, et l'accueil chaleureux. Je recommande

Très accueillant. Repas copieux de qualité. Musique fascinante exécutée par Maziar Ale Davoud. Belles rencontres. Lieu serein et noble.
