این بنا با وسعت تقریبی ۶۰۰ متر مربع در ۳۷ کیلومتری شمال خاوری بجستان قرار دارد. معماری آن شامل صحن، ایوان، قبله و شبستان گنبد دار بوده و از نوع بناهای یک ایوانی است. ایوان مقصوره بنا دارای پوشششی است که با ایجاد تاق و تویزه در آن شکل گرفته‌است. در بخش انتهایی این قسمت رسمی بندی‌های زیبا بر روی گچ ایجاد شده‌است . قسمتی از تزیینات این پوشش نیز به نقاشی گل اخرایی و ردیفی از قطار بندی‌های گچی اختصاص یافته‌است . مسجد جامع مرندیز به سبب وجود بخشی از تزیینات و نمای بیرونی اطراف و صحن و ایوان از نظر نقشه و نوع عناصر تزیینی با مسجد تاریخی خواف، مسجد رشتخوار و گنبد مقبره قطب الدین حیدر مشابه‌است. این بنا متعلق به دوره تیموری است.
