Assad's homestay

We stayed at Assads homestay for 3 nights, originally planning to stay only one. Assad helped us feel at home in his own and it was refreshing to have a true local who spoke near fluent English. Assad’s hospitality is unrivalled and he can always help with planning your trip. Considering the distance from Qeshm town it was very convenient that we could have dinner and breakfast with his family. We consider Assads homestay a unique opportunity to experience how locals live. We are exceptionally happy with our stay and would love to return given the opportunity.

We stayed two night with Assad and his lovely family in his cozy homestay. Its a very authentic place to stay, we could use an extra Kitchen, got a lot of useful Tips from Assad and celebrated my girlfriends birthday together. They even made a birthdaycake for her <3 and the food was delicious.
Assad and his daughter speak perfectly English and have just the right vibe to have the perfect stay in Dulab. I highly recommend them.

Everything to make you feel welcome. The food is also great. He will also drive you around the island showing you the main spots. Overall a great place. The beds can be improved, I’m sure Assad will work on that.

Without any doubt this is the place where to stay in Qeshm! Assad and his family are running this lovely and cozy homestay. I really recommend to stay there if you want to experience true hospitality and get to know more about the culture. He organised for a us a great tour of the island, and we had great conversations. He treated me more as a friend than a customer.

We stayed at Assads homestay for two nights. The family is very welcoming and Assad and his daughter are always up for jokes. Even though claiming he has no idea how to cook Assad's food as well as his wife's were fantastic! Rooms are basic with good AC. Bathrooms clean and functional. Nice little patio in the middle of the rooms to hang out and eat. Recommended and organized a great place in Hormus for us!
With a colleague of Assad we went for 3 tours around the island. Bahman was knowledgeable about the places we went to and had the best taste of music!

Assad and his Family are incredible hosts, their friendly attitude makes this homestay truly special!
Assad can arrange all sorts of tours to incredible spots on the island and he also arranged a homestay on Hormus for me.
The rooms are basic but clean, there are western and squat toilets available though no hot water in the showers..
All in all I highly recommend staying here when on Qeshm!

I've been staying at Assads place in Doulab Bay in June 2016 for 3 days and I can fairly say that it has been one of my most memorable experiences during my trip through Iran! I'm a solo travelling woman and always felt very safe.
Qeshm Island is breathtaking in the beauty of nature and Assad gave me several tours in his climatized car and on his motorbike. I especially loved the motorbike rides through the desertic Sculpture Valley of Qeshm Geopark - magical!!! He is a good guide with lot of respect towards the environment.
Assads Place is located in a village at the beach. 30 min. from Qeshm airport and 1 hour from the port of Qeshm City. He will always pick you up and make sure everything is to your comfort. His wife Ayshe provides you wish delicious homemade local food and can show you how to bake local bread or do local embroidery. She is very sweet.
Assad speaks very good English and so does his young daughter. Their house is full of love towards each other and respect towards their guests. You'll feel welcome from the first moment and will share their daily routine.
The house is cool and very clean. The guests sleep in the guest room or if there are more people also in the living room. Always on the usual thin matresses on the floor, but very comfortable. I know that they will build 2 more rooms, also for couples, and another bathroom pretty soon. The value for money is good and fair.
I truely enjoyed staying with them as I felt just like a faily member and I will for sure be back in the future!

Wonderfully friendly and warm homestay. Assad is hilarious and very helpfully, arranging well-priced tours and taking good care of his guests. His wife Alisha’s food is always delicious. Highly recommended!

Assad homestay is very tipical house in Qeshm island, perfect to spend few days with tipical family, try tipical food made by Assad wife. Assad is very profesional, responsible, organised, very friendly and nice to talk to. We had very nice time.

We stayed at Assad’s Homestay and also had Assad as a guide for our visit to Qeshm from Dubai. We could not have asked for more. Assad is not only incredibly knowledgeable and experienced as a guide - he’s clearly the man to go to on Qeshm - but he is also a funny, generous, kind and interesting guy to spend a few days with. I would highly recommend. Staying with him and his family felt like a privilege and gave us a real insight into local way of life. Assad’s wife, Aisha, is the most amazing cook, coming up with delicious and interesting dishes at every meal. We had a brilliant time and didn’t want to leave!

A true feel of homestay can be gained at this family. Asad and his daughter speak very good english, we had a great food 3 times a day, played games after dinner, went for the tours. The rooms and furniture are basic, but clean. The grocery store is located right across the street.

This is great place on the west side of island to stay. The owner and gentleman hosting the place are supper nice and it was so easy to communicate with them. We stayed only one night but atmosphere was great, they also run local tours, have air condition in each room and comfy beds. Best place to stay on the island!

We recommend. The family is really friendly. They speak English very well and they can show you a lot of interesting places.
Plus you are meeting real family and see their real home instead of hotel designed for tourists.

I stayed with Assad and his lovely family 3 years ago and it was amazing. They were super friendly and food was excellent + we got some very nice tips on exploring Keshm.

Assad is a good host, his wife cooks yummy meals and Qeshm Island is a unique experience for most travellers.

A very friendly family based homestay. I really loved the atmosphere. Lovely, cozy, nice and simply place. It might be basic for some people, but extremely delicious foods.
