Place that i visit as long as i can remember. Best masala dosa,vada and tea/coffee combo.

Simple and humble if you are hungry and just want to peacefully eat. Very polite and proactive staff - I had regular meals, reminded me of times when these types of "meals" Hotel were plenty and easily accessible.

Swami's Cafe is situated at a cardinal point - just opposite the Civil Lines, Ayyanthole. Mother Hospital is not far from this area.
All the food stuff served here are excellent in taste and sumptuous for our stomatch. Suitable for common man's pocket. The hotel caters to the regular staff working in the Civil Lines and the courts. The hotel is just off the West Fort area and Poomkunnam is not far away. Town buses are plenty to this side.

Started in 1969 in a humble way, the growth of the hotel is phenomenal. The present proprietor is Sri. V G Kannan whose expertise in the area of culinary management has earned the public acclaim that this Hotel is not just another hotel but, is rightly the 'Taste of Trichur'.

The food here is really good. I usually have Masaladosa and Uzhunnuvada. Both yummy. Not too costly too. There isn't much of an ambience to mention, but it's well maintained. The staff here is also really friendly.

I usually have breakfast from here weekly.

Would definitely suggest this restaurant for quick bites and breakfast.

I love the food here. Especially the Masaladosa and Uzhunnuvada. It's really the best you can get in Thrissur. It's usually a bit crowded and if going alone, not much of an issue. Usually crowd from people visiting the Collectorate.

I have visited this place a few times. The food and service is good. Usually found to be crowded on working days, because it is opposite to civil station. Good for vegetarians and pricing is also competitive.

The One & Only Hotel that OPENS ON ALL HARTHAL DAYS for the past few years.

Tasty food, I just love to have food for here, neat and clean environment, the staff are very friendly.
Even though being a pure vegetarian hotel the rates are not high.

On Harthal days it functions as a GOODWILL Shop. If you like to pay, you can drop money in the Dropbox placed on the Cash Counter or transfer by scanning the Paytm QR Code.

Food was clean and good.... Taste and combinations too....

Dosa, masala dosa, iddly like all south indian veg dishes and snacks are ready to serve.
This place is active even on the Harthal days also.

I know this restaurant since 1996. I am familiar with the family who runs this restaurant. It won't be an exaggeration if I tell that the chappathy and porotta and the kuruma tastes still the same as I enjoyed 23 years back. Masala Dosa and channa battura are fantastic here.

So many memories here . In 1996 I was preparing for my MBBS entrance exam under the guidance of Radha Krishnan sir and nambeesan sir. I miss valsettan, Gigi and Sunil here. I have been visiting swamys once in 3 years at least. Our pellisery Lodge is a memory now even though mash officers Lodge is still there.

Against harthal .Wow that was great. After two days strike I eat only from Swamy's. They have the guts to oppose.Hats off

Felt like homely food. Peaceful and calm atmosphere.

Gud food. Nice behaviour from staff. Food is of so good. Only thing is about the availability of seat.
